Welcome to 411’s WWE Night of Champions 2026 Report. Today’s Countdown Show panelists are Joe Tessitore, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg. We head to a video package for Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship followed by a severely flawed countdown of the top ten steel cage matches in WWE history. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart at SummerSlam 1994 is and always will be the greatest steel cage match in WWE history, and any list that attempts to argue otherwise is… severely flawed. Next up is a video package with highlights of the 1996 King of the Ring Tournament Final featuring the famous Austin 3:16 promo. We head to a video package for Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring Final followed by another video package for Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
King of the Ring Tournament Final
Jey Uso vs. Oba Femi
Uso takes a swing at Femi to start, but Femi blocks the punch and tosses Uso to the corner. Uso lands a punch that has virtually no effect on Femi. Femi charges at Uso, but Uso rolls to the outside to avoid disaster. Femi chases Uso the outside and tries to lawn dart him into the ring post, but Uso slides out the back and shoves Femi into the ring post. Uso charges back into the ring and hits two consecutive suicide dives. Uso goes for a third suicide dive, but this time Femi catches him with a punch between the ropes. Femi heads back into the ring and delivers a shoulder breaker. Femi works over Uso in the corner and then whips him hard to the opposite corner. Femi goes for a powerbomb, but Uso floats over and connects with a super kick from behind. Uso heads up top and hits the Uso Splash, but Femi kicks out at one. Femi gets back to his feet and slams Uso, but Uso kicks out at two. Uso fights back with three consecutive super kick and spears Femi in the middle of the ring. Uso heads back up top and hits a second Uso Splash, but he can’t make the cover. Uso hits a third Uso Splash, but Femi kicks out at two. Uso locks in the sleeper hold on the mat, but Femi fights back to his feet. Femi lands a running uppercut in the corner and a second running uppercut in the middle of the ring. Femi launches Uso across the ring and hits the Fall from Grace for the three count.
Match Result: Oba Femi defeats Jey Uso with the Fall from Grace.

Queen of the Ring Tournament Final
Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan
Morgan takes down Sky with a hurricanrana and follows up with a running knee shot in the corner. Morgan chokes Sky against the bottom turnbuckle, but Sky fights back and levels Morgan with a basement drop kick. Morgan charges at Sky, but Sky dumps her onto the apron. Sky goes for a sunset flip powerbomb off the apron onto the floor, but Morgan hangs onto the top rope to blocks. Morgan takes the fight to Sky on the outside, but Sky connects with a diving crossbody off the barricade. Morgan slams Sky into the ring post to regain control and then rolls Sky back into the ring. Morgan connects with a running knee shot in the corner and then chokes her from the top turnbuckle. Morgan hits Three Amigos but only gets a two count. Morgan and Sky trade kicks in the middle of the ring. Morgan locks in a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring, but Sky flips her backward to escape the hold. Sky wrenches Morgan’s arm over the top rope and then connects with a missile drop kick from the top. Sky follows up with a running double knee shot in the corner but only gets a two count. Morgan fights back with a Backstabber before the action spills to the outside. Sky hits a gorgeous Asai Moonsault and rolls Morgan back into the ring. Sky heads up top, but Morgan knocks her off the top turnbuckle, and Sky lands awkwardly on the ring steps. Morgan rolls Sky back into the ring and locks in a single-leg crab. Sky crawls to the ropes, but Morgan drags her back to the middle of the ring. Sky rolls out of the hold and slugs it out with Morgan in the middle of the ring. Sky hits the ropes, but he injured knee gives out. Morgan hits a springboard tornado Code Breaker, but Sky miraculously kicks out at two. Morgan goes for Oblivion, but Sky moves out of the way. Sky misses a missile drop kick but fights back with a Spanish Fly. Sky heads up top and hits the Over the Moonsault for the three count. After the match, Sky challenged Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam.
Match Result: Iyo Sky defeats Liv Morgan with the Over the Moonsault.
