Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

NXT Universe! It’s Tuesday Night, but it is not just any ordinary Tuesday Night in the land of Chef HBK! No, for tonight is New Years Evil, and tonight will feature title matches aplenty!

While plans can and will always change, it does appear from up close that the marquee match that will feature the men of NXT (and also TNA) is the NXT Men’s World Title match, as The Ruler Oba Femi will look to turn back the challenge from the exciting TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater.

But NYE belongs to the ladies of NXT, starting with a rematch from Deadline, as Tatum Paxley will look to get revenge on Izzi Dame. The NXT Women’s North American Title will be on the line, as Thea Hail will look to prove that her title win was no fluke, as she gives Blake Monroe a rematch for the title. In addition, Jacy Jayne will defend her NXT Women’s World Title against the Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey. All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!

Hopefully, everyone made it out of the Holiday stretch in one piece and is ready to make 2026 their year! Also, no New Years Resolutions. I mean, who sticks to them anyway LOL!

NXT

THEN!

NOW!

FOREVER!

TOGETHER!

Tonight, New Years Evil takes place from the home base of the next hopeful WWE superstars at the Performance Center! Vic Joseph will look to keep his commentating partner Booker T from getting too far out of pocket tonight!

Video package that features some of the highlights and the lowlights from 2025. That segues into a preview for the matches for tonight.

Oh, Vic and Book are in a balcony above the ring. That’s different lol.

Fatal Influence are walking! Kendal Grey is getting ready for her match with a spar in the ring! Oba Femi is walking! Leon Slater is walking!

SABATOGE! Thea Hail makes her entrance, but she is attacked from behind by Blake Monroe! She throws Hail into the ring steps, goes under the ring, and find a steel chair. She beats up Hail with the chair. The refs work to keep Monroe away from Hail as she is checked on.

Time for a change of pace, as Ricky Saints is here! Saints proves how much of a bastard he is as he smiles at Hail’s distress.

Saints has the mic in the ring. He guesses the Women’s North American title match will be put on pause. So, he is going to give us a very special gift. What better way to kick off 2026 than with me. He knows we feel a certain kind of way about him. Last year, he really needed NXT. But now, NXT needs me, BABY! And that’s why Evans, Williams, they all chose free agency. Because as long as I am here, you can’t compete, and you can’t compare. And I don’t blame them at all. There is room for only one star, and that’s me!

Ricky says the fans need their ass whooped. He isn’t going anywhere. All those athletes, those independent guys, if you come for me, he will send you back to where you came from. You may be talented; you are not absolute! That’s what he has been telling us since day one. He is who he says he is, and he will keep proving that in 2026. It is natural born stars against the stars they are trying to create. He knows how this ends, and he hasn’t been wrong for 20 years, and he’s not starting now. If you win, Leon, he will handle you in due time. But it’s you, Oba, and that doesn’t sit well in my spirit. He is going to finish what he started last year. He slipped; he doesn’t fall. And he will win his NXT World Title back. And we are all living in the era of Absolution!

Ava is in a state backstage. She accosts Mr. Stone over how the show has started. She gets a headset from a stagehand and tells someone to play the video package for Tatum and Izzi.

At least that works, as we get a comprehensive video package for Tatum and Izzi’s match.

And we get a cut to commercials. Lovely! At least it’s the ladies in the WrestleMania commercial, so that makes me happy!

Ava is still in a state backstage. Blake Monroe says that this is her fault. She said she wanted the Glamour, but now she doesn’t like the results. Ava says not only are you not getting your title rematch, but you are BANNED from the arena. Damn, Ava finally laying the law down lol.

Tatum is here!!

Tatum Paxley vs. Izzi Dame

Tatum looks possessed and/or possibly out her mind as Izzi makes her entrance.

Tatum starts up on offense, as she takes it to Izzi early on. Dame begs for forgiveness, but Paxley isn’t falling for it and looks for a submission.

Well apologies, as I had an issue with my feed and had to reset it. When I come back to the match, Izzi is seen stretching out Tatum around the ring post. Book is all over Tatum (not in that way lol), as Dame has the dreaded chinlock applied. Paxley fights her way back and hits a chop block, but Dame with a back elbow to put her back on the mat.

Dame applies a side headlock, and as soon as Paxley gets back to her feet, Dame takes her down with a front face lock. Paxley back to her feet, and both ladies hit double clotheslines in the middle of the ring.

Dame grabs control with a catapult into the top rope. That gets her a two count. Dame applies an elevated crab as Book is REALLY feeling himself tonight lol. Paxley finally gets to the bottom rope to break the hold. Paxley with some chops, but Dame with a back elbow. She goes to the top, but Tatum with an enziguri to stall her momentum.

Tatum sweeps out her legs and goes to the top. Paxley sets herself and hits an avalanche Spanish Fly! Paxley is not able to take advantage, though, and both ladies crawl towards one another. THIS IS AWESOME chants, and both ladies get face-to-face as they regain their bases. Izzi with some chops, but Tatum with clotheslines, a high kick, and a German. Dame cuts that off with a big boot to the face!

Dame grabs up Paxley and hits a sit-out powerbomb, but Tatum kicks out at two. Crucifix Bomb by Dame into a lariat, but Tatum kicks out at two. Dame charges Paxley and they both spill out onto the floor. Dame throws Paxley into the ring steps and then back into the ring.

Dame’s offense is countered, Paxley with a Pele Kick! Tatum to the top, 450 Splash incoming! That sets up Cemetery Drive, and Tatum wins it!
WINNER: Tatum Paxley
TIME: 11:00
THOUGHTS: Paxley winning here was the right call, as it puts an end to this rivalry and allows both ladies to move on to other things, perhaps. Cut out of my service aside, this was a good match.
RATING: ***1/4

Video package for Flio LeFleur. The White Eagle is ready to take flight!

We see Wren Sinclair getting Kendal Grey ready for her title match. We then see Fatal Influence making the walk as we head out for break.

COMMERCIALS!

Thea Hail and Jordynne Grace are in the back, as the doctor checks on Hail. Ava is here. She congrats Jordynne on stepping up to Jade. Thea wants to defend her title tonight. Ava says that she kicked Blake out of the arena. So, as a compromise, Ava says that Thea can have an open challenge instead.

Can Kendal become two-title Kendal?

NXT Women’s World Title Match: Jacy Jayne (C) W/Fatal Influence vs. Kendal Grey W/Wren Sinclair

Vic notes that the Women’s title has only changed hands once at this event, but it was last year. Are we manifesting something here?

Firewoman’s take down by Grey to start us off. Jayne is able to reverse it with a leg lock, but Grey gets out of it, so we reset. Grey wrestles Jayne to the mat and looks for a submission, but Jayne makes it to the bottom rope. She yells at the ref to get her away lol.

Jayne tries to use her power to takedown Grey, but Grey slides through the legs of Jayne and dropkicks her out of the ring. Grey to the top rope and she hits a moonsault, taking out everyone! Grey has a submission on Jayne in the ropes, but Jayne carries her over to the barricade and slams her into the wall. Jayne with a running boot to the face of Grey as we head out for break.

Jayne has taken over in the ring as we return. Snapmare into a big kick from Jayne gets her a two. Jayne stalks and taunts Grey, as she chokes her against the middle rope. Jayne slams Grey into the corner and gets another two on the pin. Book says that Vic is jealous that he is getting love from Fatal Influence. Frankly, I am jealous lol.

Grey fights back with some strikes, she rolls through, but Jayne with another running kick to the face of Grey. Kendal craws towards the ropes, as Jayne collects her and throws her face first into the second turnbuckle. Jayne grounds Grey with a side headlock. Kendal tries to get to her feet, but Jayne rips her right back down to the mat.

Grey back to her vertical base, but Jayne cuts off her momentum with a neck breaker. Jacy into the pin for a two. Jayne with head control, but Grey back to her feet, and she drives Jayne to the corner. Jayne stops her momentum, but she runs into a boot from the challenger. Grey ducks a clothesline, off the ropes, as both ladies crash in the middle of the ring.

Both ladies are back at it with forearms. Jayne gains the upper hand with an upkick and an enziguri. Jayne dances for us, but she takes WAY too long taunting Grey, who headbutts her. Grey launches into clotheslines and hits a German. THE STRAPS HAVE COME DOWN! Grey slides out of the ring and trips up Jayne. Slingshot splash from the challenger! A DDT follows for a two.

Grey with a kick to the champion from the apron, where Jayne placed her. Grey to the top, but Jayne shakes the ropes to slow down Grey. Another neck breaker from the champion gets her a two. CANNONABLL from the champion, but she misses, and Grey with a German! Jayne rolls through and hits a huge knee strike! The cover, but Grey kicks out at 2.8!

THIS IS AWESOME chants, as Jayne looks beside herself. Jacy to the top, but Grey channels her inner Kurt Angle and jumps to the top and hits a Belly-to-Belly to the mat! The cover, but Jayne kicks out. Grey won’t let go, though, and locks on a submission. Fallon Henley pulls her out of the ring! The ref doesn’t see it, because Lainey Reid and Wren Sinclair are going at it!

Rolling Encore from Jayne takes care of Sinclair, but Grey locks in the arm bar again! Grey off the ropes, Henley grabs onto her boot, and Jayne hits the Rolling Encore to retain!
WINNER: Jacy Jayne (Still Champion)
TIME: 12:35
THOUGHTS: Grey was more than capable and pushed the champion to the limit. But the numbers game caught up to her, allowing Jayne to retain her Women’s Title. Damn good match, though.
RATING: ***3/4

Thea’s open challenge is up next!

COMMERCIALS!

Vic runs down the NXT live events for the months of January and February as we return from break. We see Oba Femi getting ready for his title match tonight.

Ava says that Ethan Page is the last person she wants to see right now lol. That’s rude. Page runs down the reasons why he is so awesome (spoiler alert, its everything). Page didn’t want to embarrass Ava and mention how many title defenses he had on live events. Page says he is going to finish his thoughts out in the ring. Ava says something is off, but Page says there is no catch, but he is leaving so the boys can come in! Here comes the Vanity Project! Jackson Drake thinks that they should talk 2026, Boss.

Alright, Thea Hail, take two!

Open Challenge for the NXT Women’s North American Title: Thea Hail (C) vs. TBD

Hail is clearly not 100% as she makes her way to the ring.

Before the match, Hail has the mic. She knows her win was a little bit controversial. She was devastated that Blake attacked her, because no one wanted this match more than she did. She promised the NXT Universe a match tonight, so she is issuing a challenge to the women’s locker room. The first one out here will get a shot at her title.

Just about all of the women make their way out from the back. Tatum runs down the middle of the group with her chainsaw lol. Izzi Dame, though, enters from behind Hail in the ring and attacks her. Shawn Spears throws the ref into the ring, and Dame manhandles the champion.

Thea attempts to fight back, but Dame picks her up onto her shoulders. Hail tries a sunset flip, but Dame cuts that off and gets the Oklahoma Stampede treatment. The ensuing pin gets her a two as we head out for break.

During the break, Dame continued the assault on Hail, taking her to the corner and wrapping her around the ring post, as Shawn Spears looks on stoic. A pin from Dame gets her a two. Hail tries her best to fight off Dame, but Izzi snatches her up into the dreaded chinlock.

Hail slowly makes it back to her feet, but Dame shuts that down. Dame AGAIN goes back to very dreaded chinlock, as Hail brings us back to live action by getting to her feet. Once more, though, Dame is able to shut that down, as she digs her fingers into the side of Hail. That’s certainly no personal care lol.

Hail takes that personally and hits a stunner on the challenger to create some space. Dame with some forearms, but Hail fights through and hits some clotheslines. Sunset flip from the corner gets Hail a two. Dame cuts that off with a scoop slam, but she misses the following elbow. Hail brings Dame to center and hits a running back splash. Hail prepares for the springboard back splash, but Dame shuts that down and gets a two.

Dame applies the bearhug, but Hail is able to counter with the Kimora. Dame, though, runs Hail into the corner to break the hold. Dame to the floor, Hail looking to fly, but Dame catches her out of the air and she chokeslams Hail onto the announce table! Izzi goes back into the ring, but Spears tells her to return Hail to the ring lol.

Dame returns Hail to the ring and goes up top, but Hail cuts her off with some forearms. She looks for the Kimora on the top rope, BUT IZZI WITH AN AVALANCHE DAME OVER TO WIN THE TITLE!
WINNER: Izzi Dame (NEW Champion!)
TIME: 10:00
THOUGHTS: Props to Hail for still wanting to compete even after she got ambushed by Monroe earlier in the show. But sometimes, discretion is the better part of valor, and Dame took advantage of this and is the new champion!
RATING: ***1/4

Lola Vice is watching the match in the back. Here comes the Vanity Project to goon on Vice. Hank and Tank are here though to level this off. Hank says they don’t need more douchebags in NXT. Vice says you know who beat Dame’s ass? Lola Vice! She will come to take the title off of her as soon as she beats Kelani Jordan’s ass. Jordan just happens to enter the room, and she charges Vice, as the guys fight to keep them apart.

Joe Hendry is in Ava’s office. He says that he is not here to have a concert or play his guitar, he is here for a fight. Next week, he wants Dion Lennox in a No-DQ match. Ava points out the obvious about DarkState getting involved, but Hendry says he can find himself some bad men to even the playing field. Ava says that will work, and she grants him the match for next week.

COMMERICALS!

Ethan Page is here as we return. Ladies and gentlemen, he finds it fitting that we ring in the year 2026 with the most dominant performer in NXT, me. Add big game hunter to his resume, as he got himself a Moose! He sent that guy back to TNA emptyhanded and proved that he is the best North American Champion of all time. Oba Femi and Leon Slater may be in the main event, but make no mistake, Ethan IS the main event. The North American Title is not just the most prestigious in NXT, but in all of WWE. He finds it funny that Femi is the World Champion, but he only defends it in one part of the world. Meanwhile, Page defends his title against everyone around the globe. So, that makes him an international icon!

Jasper Troy is here to interrupt. Troy says Page isn’t the only champion that matters. He wasn’t the only man who dominated in 2025. Troy will prove that he is the monster of NXT. It’s like this Ethan; he ran through LFG and snatched this B-Title. It might be the first title he has snatched, but it won’t be the last one he grabs.

Josh Briggs is here to put us all to sleep! Briggs tells Page to stop wasting his time on losers like Myle Bourne, and don’t listen to these mouth breathing losers.

Stacks is here with Ariana! He has unfinished business with Page. Stacks is the only man in NXT to hold TNA gold right now. You call yourself the International Icon, but Stacks is the one true Icon. Briggs and Troy aren’t monsters, because Stacks is the biggest monster with Ariana by his side.

Shiloh Hill is here. Hide your raccoons lol. He’s happy to see Stacks is in a good mood, because last time he wasn’t. He spoke to Santino Marella, and next week, Hill is going to end Page’s title reign.

Tavion Heights is here. This is kind of party! He tells Troy that next week, Troy is going to be taking Air Heights, and he is going to take the Speed Title from him.

Page says ENOUGH, and I agree. Page goads Troy into attacking Heights, and all hell breaks loose, as everyone fights everyone. Ariana goes to attack Hill, but he pulls her in and they dance. Hill’s tooth “Falls” out into the mouth of Ariana, as she is justifiably grossed out. Hill sends Stacks packing, and this segment has, mercifully, come to an end.

Leon Slater is seen getting ready for his match up next. That main event will be up next after the break.

COMMERICALS!

Vic shills all of the podcasts as we return from break. We see Joe Hendry in the back, asking OTM if they will have his back. They say that this isn’t their problem, and you shouldn’t ask them for help. Hendry says that if they take care of DarkState, and if Hendry wins, then OTM have a direct path to the tag team titles. OTM change their tune and say that they will have Hendry’s back.

Elsewhere, we see Fatal Influence walking. They approach Sol Ruca and Zaria and make fun of them for winning tag team of the year but not having any titles to show for it. Ruca says that they have no problem taking their titles off of them.

More walking in the back, as Ethan Page walks past Tate Wilder and Miles Bourne. Page stops and confronts them, saying that Bourne is an idiot for not taking any of his advice. Page says he knows who Wilder is, but he doesn’t matter to him. Page walks away, and Wilder tells Bourne to not let Page get to him.

It’s main event time (finally). But first…

COMMERCIALS!

NXT Men’s World Title Match: Oba Femi (C) vs. Leion Slater

Carlos Silva is in the crowd, as Slater points over to him. We’re also getting in-ring introductions from Mike Rome.

The bell rings, as Femi stalks Slater around the ring. He backs Slater into the corner and delivers a BIG Beal! Another lock-up, Slater goes behind Femi, but Oba ragdolls him and grabs wrist control. Slater looks to escape the grasp of the Ruler, but he isn’t having any of it.

Femi stalks Slater to the corner and hammers away on him. Femi lands body blows. Slater gives three slaps only to eat one thunderous chop from the champion. Femi with a chinlock as a means to keep Slater grounded. Slater to his feet, he sneaks out the back door. Femi catches his initial kick, but Slater catches him on the rebound. Femi catches Slater out of the air and whips Slater so hard into the corner that he bounces out of the ring and to the floor. That’ll take us to break.

During the break, Femi keeps the attack on Slater, including hitting a huge backbreaker. Femi grounds Slater with a chinlock to negate his speed and agility. Slater finally gets to his feet, and he hits a knee strike. Femi goes after Slater, but he sends Femi out to the floor. Slater to the apron, he looks to fly, but Femi chops him down with anti-air. Femi goes to slap Femi, but Leon moves, and Oba slaps the ring post. He also favors his knee.

Slater with a running moonsault from the apron to Femi. He returns Femi to the ring and hits a Frog Splash for a two. Femi puts an end to Slater’s offense with a lariat and a chokeslam, but Slater kicks out at two. Femi with corner clotheslines to Slater, but on the third attempt, his knee gives out. Slater wants to suplex Femi, AND HE MANAGES TO SLAM THE BIG MAN! The slam caused such a reverberation that Slater recoiled to the corner lol.

Femi ends up on the apron, where Slater hits an enziuri, sending Oba to the floor. SLATER CLEARS THE RING POST AND WIPES OUT OBA! Slater manages to return Femi to the ring, but his Swanton 450 meets the knees of Femi! The cover, Slater kicks out at two, and he counters with a crucifix for another two. Femi rallies with the Fall from Grace Powerbomb, and that will be a title retention!
WINNER: Oba Femi (Still Champion)
TIME: 11:10
THOUGHTS: The booking of this match made total sense, with the much bigger Femi grounding the smaller Slater until Leon was able to create separation and use his agility and speed to keep Femi off balance. Femi winning was the right call, even in light of what happened to end the show.
RATING: ***1/2

Ava has the NXT locker room in the back. She tells them that Trick, Je’Von, and Jordynne have made their way to the main roster, so it will be time for them to step it up. Mr. Stone interrupts Ava and asks if she saw what Oba Femi did. We go back to ring side, and we see the NXT Title sitting on the announce table. SUSPENSE!

And with that, we are done!
