Then. Now. Forever. Together!

We’re in Brooklyn, New York! Michael Cole tells us that things are about to get strange!

We see some upside down graphics, Cole & Corey Graves pop out of a van, Graves is dressed for the 1980s & Cole isn’t. The Vision & Bron Breakker are WALKING! CM Punk is DRINKING COFFEE! The Judgement Day is WALKING! Lyra Valkyria is DRIVING Bayley! Maxxine Dupri is WALKING! Becky Lynch is WALKING!

Graves welcomes us to Monday Night Raw and the pyro goes off.

Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY: Alicia Taylor with the special ring introductions, she’ll be busy with that tonight. IYO & Asuka start us off. IYO with some handsprings, then a kick to Asuka on all fours. Auska to the floor, Sane is sent out with her, and Ripley hits the cannonball! We go to commercial.

Asuka & Ripley going at is as we return. Asuka with a knee, Ripley sent to the apron. Asuka joins her there, they tease the suplex until Asuka falls off the apron. Ripley misses the cannonball on the floor thanks to Kairi, and Kairi & Asuka beat Ripley along the barricade. Back in the ring, Sane with the headscissors on the ropes. Kairi goes up top, hits a forearm for two. Rhea eats a series of kicks for a two count. Asuka with some slaps to Rhea. Rhea headbutts Asuka, then catches Kairi off the top for a fallaway slam. Tag to IYO! IYO with some palm strikes and a sling blade while Graves mentions Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement. Asuka down in the corner, does her taunt, Asuka blocks her corner move, but IYO brings her down on the rope. Kairi trips IYO up on the ropes, double stomps the prone IYO, who flips to the mat for a two count. We go to commercial!

Kairi has IYO in a Liontamer, but over rotates! IYO goes for the tag and gets it! Rhea with clotheslines for Kairi. Kairi gets kicked on a headscissor attempt, planted face first and hit with a dropkick. Asuka gets booted off the apron. Rhea hits the Razor’s Edge, IYO hits the missile dropkick! Count gets a very very very close two count. Rhea hits the Rip Tide! Asuka drives Rhea into IYO, then hits Rhea with a Codebreaker. Cover gets two! (Liontamer, Codebreaker.) Asuka tags in and baseball slides into Rhea for two. Asuka with some strikes, runs into a headscissor by Rhea, Asuka turns that into an ankle lock and suplexes Rhea. Double team by Asuka & Kairi gets two. Asuka & Kairi hit the assisted Insane Elbow for two. IYO makes the save. IYO Germans Kairi, then tags in the match. Asuka with a small package for two, a backslide gets two. IYO hits a double stomp, then a Meteroa in the middle of the ropes. Rhea tags in, hits Rip Tide on Asuka. IYO with the moonsault, then a dive onto Kairi on the floor! Rhea makes the cover and HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN BROOKLYN!

Winners: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY (10:24 shown)

Pyro goes off as IYO & Rhea celebrate.

Cole & Graves throw us to a video package covering the CM Punk/Bron Breakker issue. Des Locs provide “This Land” for the video. Punk gets the early attention while Bron hype follows.

Adam Pearce congratulates Rhea & IYO, he’s very proud of them. Gunther walks up, and Pearce tells him there will be a ton of eyes on him tonight. He encourages Gunther to speak from the heart and maybe mix in a little respect. Gunther chuckles and walks towards the arena. Gunther shows off his new t-shirt while walking to the ring. It features a picture of John Cena tapping out and the phrase “Tap Like A…”. So the typical classy rasslin merch then!

(I say as if I don’t have an array of wrestling t-shirts that no one should actually wear outside the house.)

We take a commercial break and a Stranger Things inspired path towards Gunther in the ring. Gunther has been asked by management to show a little bit of respect. The fans chant that Gunther tapped out. What about some respect for Gunther! The man that made John Cena do the one thing he said he’d never to. The man that made John Cena tap out like a little-

AJ Styles’s music hits! The Phenomenal One hits the ring & stares down Gunther. Gunther cuts AJ off and tells him that if AJ wants to tell him about respect he’s punching above his weight. Gunther is the greatest wrestler in this company right now, and that includes AJ. Gunther is the man that made John Cena tap out like a little…you know what, AJ! LIKE A LITTLE BITCH! Gunther wants to know what Little AJ is gonna do about it. Gunther does the You Can’t See Me, AJ smacks him in the face! They stare each other down menacingly while AJ asks what Gunther’s gonna do about it. AJ says he thought Gunther would do nothing, then drops the microphone in front of him before walking out.

Cole & Graves intro a video package covering Maxxine Dupri’s ascension to glory at the expense of Becky Lynch’s sanity.

Ivy Nile wants another shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and she tells Adam Pearce she’s not going to the back of the line. Gunther comes in to complain about AJ Styles, Styles follows him in and wants a match tonight. Gunther says he’ll wrestle Styles next week, and Pearce makes it official.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch: No super special intro for this one, just the regular. Becky takes Maxxine into the ropes while Cole talks about her ring gear paying tribute to her upcoming movie. Maxxine takes Becky into the ropes to even the points. Multiple go-behinds into the corner. Becky with a mule kick. Maxxine answers with a Thesz press. Becky outside, Maxxine cartwheels on the apron and eventually hits a pump kick to Becky. We go to commercial!

Maxxine blocks an armbar, then kicks Becky down. The fans chant three letters while Becky & Maxxine trade shots. Maxxine with some clotheslines. Splash in the corner and a Perfectplex into a kip up. A spin kick on Becky gets two. Becky blocks a kick, but Maxxine turns it into a roll through & an ankle lock. Becky finds the ropes. Becky misses a stomp off the middle rope, Maxxine with a roll up, then an ankle lock. Becky rolls through and into the Disarmer! Maxxine gets out, goes up top and Becky meets her there. Becky hits a superplex and rolls Maxxine into a DDT for two. Maxxine blocks the Manhandle Slam a couple of times, Maxxine misses a kick, Becky hits a back suplex for two. Becky hits an ankle lock on Maxxine, who sends her into the corner, hits a German suplex, goes up top and hits a cross-body block for two! Becky drops Maxxine on the ropes, but gets met up top by her. Becky slips under and goes for a powerbomb, but Maxxine rolls into an ankle lock on Becky! Maxxine hangs on, but Becky rolls her up for the three count! (Becky might have been using the ropes for leverage, couldn’t tell from my vantage point.)

Winner: Becky Lynch (8:30 shown via pinfall)

I finally noticed that Jessika Carr wasn’t refereeing this match a few minutes into the match, seems like a pretty big part of the story, right? Becky celebrates, then we get an Oba Femi video package.

Bron Breakker jumps up and down while listening to music. Stephanie Vaquer is WALKING while the Creed Brothers try to get a boat working.

We get a sneak peek of WWE Unreal, with Paul Heyman talking about how he doesn’t like the show. Seth Rollins’ fake injury is discussed. R-Truth was released for a minute or two and people were shocked. Jelly Roll appears.

The Usos are in their city! Time to yeet! Jimmy & Jey stay among the people instead of walking down to the ring. Jey promises that this is the Year of the Usos. Jimmy calls themselves the best tag team in the game and says they’ll be waiting for competition. YEET!

JACKIE REDMOND is in the ring, and she introduces Stephanie Vaquer! This’ll make the comment section happy! Stephanie has a walking boot on her left leg as a result of last week’s title defense. Jackie asks the question on everyone’s mind: what now? Stephanie says that 2025 was amazing. She accomplished a lot, including becoming the Women’s World Champion. Stephanie takes the microphone from Jackie and thanks the WWE Universe for believing in her. She speaks Spanish, I’m pretty sure she called Nikki Bella & Raquel Rodriguez assholes. Her injury won’t stop her, she wants everyone. Jackie thanks her and we think things are over until Raquel Rodriguez attacks Stephanie from behind. She attacks Stephanie’s injured ankle! Raquel hits the Tejana Bomb, then goes outside and gets a chair. Referees try to break it up but are useless as Raquel sets Stephanie up for the Pillmanizer. That brings out higher ranked folks like Adam Pearce, and Raquel leaves before Raquel can inflict more punishment. We see Stephanie writhing in pain as we go to commercial.

Eminem is now providing the official theme song for Monday Night Raw. If that doesn’t bring Tony Acero back, nothing will. We see the attack on Stephanie Vaquer once again. Stephanie is attacked again backstage by Raquel after the staff helping her are sent aside. Pearce appears again and promises to fine Raquel everything she’s worth as she exits.

We go back to last week, when Penta came back to help Rey Mysterio against the Vision. In the locker room, Rey tells Dragon Lee that he’ll be champion again and pumps him up. Penta then appears and tells Rey how he agreed to come back early to help him against the Vision. Rey knew that Penta would have his back, and only Penta understands the tradition, honor & respect that the Vision want to destroy. Penta will always be there for Rey and they do the Cero Miedo fist bump. Good Lord, is Penta joining the Vision?

Liv Morgan (w/Roxanne Perez vs. Lyra Valkyria (w/Bayley): Elle Duncan is in the house with a gigantic Stranger Things WWE title belt. Graves makes a Phoebe Cates reference in reference to Morgan, don’t really see a similarity there but whatevs. Lyra trips Liv up and hits a kick. Northern Lights suplex gets two for Lyra. Liv goes outside, she evades Lyra’s kick through the ropes, goes back in the ring and kicks Lyra to the floor. Liv sends Lyra into the steps as we go to commercial.

Lyra sends Liv to the mat when we return, then they clothesline each other. Forearms are exchanged. Lyra with an elbow, Liv misses along the ropes, Lyra hits a suplex. Tornado DDT by Lyra, then a Fisherman’s buster gets two on Liv. Lyra has Liv up for Nightwing, but Liv with a crucifix for two. Lyra gets struck some by Liv’s elbows, then Lyra lifts her up for Nightwing. Liv counters with a DDT that gets two. Liv with some kicks, Lyra with some of her own. Roxanne holds the rope down & Lyra tumbles outside while the referee doesn’t notice. Roxanne slaps Bayley and throws her into the time keeper’s area, then Bayley snaps and chases Roxanne with a chair. Lyra looks back to the entrance, which puts her in position to Liv to hit the Oblivion for the three count.

Winner: Liv Morgan (5:53 shown via pinfall)

Jackie is with CM Punk, she asks him how he’s preparing for Bron Breakker and everything he comes with. Punk dismisses the question, then tells people not to underestimate him. I think he also threatened to GTS Jackie, which hardly seems appropriate.

Damian Priest & B-Fab are shown at the Netflix House in Philadelphia.

Earlier tonight, Gunther talked some stuff and AJ Styles was offended enough to slap the man. They’ll face off next week, with a special 2 PM Eastern start time since they’ll be live in Germany.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker (w/Paul Heyman): Punk with some mind games wearing a Steiner Brother inspired varsity jacket to the ring. Alicia Taylor with the super special ring introduction. Punk works the headlock early on. Hammerlock by Punk, Bron lifts out of it but Punk goes to the wrist lock and takes Bron over. Bron with a powerslam and we go to commercial.

Bron punches away on Punk on the mat as we return. We see a replay of Bron running Punk over with a Breakkerline. Bron catapults Punk’s neck into the bottom rope while Cole compares Bron to Kurt Angle & Brock Lesnar. Bron slams Punk down, knees Punk in the throat and delivers more punches. Bron tosses Punk over his shoulder as the dogs in the crowd bark. Punk fights back and gets Bron on his shoulders, but Bron slips off and hits a suplex for two. Bron tells the crowd to look at this bum. Punk fights back, but gets whipped hard into the corner. A running knee strike from Bron knocks Punk down. Bron blocks the GTS, then gutbusts Punk for a two count. Bron tosses Punk outside, then gets ready for a spear…Bron ends up running into a Punk clothesline! We go to commercial!

Bron hits a standing moonsault for two! Bron tries a Frankenbreakker but it doesn’t hit! Bron lands on or near his head and Punk hits the top rope elbow for two. Punk gets crotched up top and Bron hits the Frankenbreakker this time for two! Bron military presses Punk, but Punk hits a DDT out of it for a two count. Bron & Punk exchange strikes. Leg lariat, then a neckbreaker by Punk. High knee in the corner, then a shortarm clothesline. Punk up top, hits the top rope elbow again. Punk motions that it’s time to go to sleep, and Heyman jumps up on the apron to distract. Bronson Reed, Logan Paul & Austin Theory all appear and get knocked off the apron. Bron bumps Punk into the referee, and now all heck can break loose. Theory hits a stomp on Punk, cover by Bron gets two! Bronson clears the announce table, then Penta’s music hits! Dragon Lee, Penta & Rey Mysterio attack the Vision! They fight off into the crowd with Bronson, Logan & Austin. Bron lines Punk up for a spear…Bron spears the ringpost! GTS! Cover gets two! Punk hits a piledriver on Bron that also gets two. Punk motions for another GTS. Bron blocks and gets Punk into a Fujiwara armbar! Punk gets a rollup for two but Bron keeps the hold on. Punk rolls out and goes for the Anaconda Vice! Bron stares at Punk, rises up, hits Punk with another gutbuster. Clothesline and a cover gets two. Bron makes the GTS hand motion. Punk picks the ankle and locks in the STF! Bron gets to the ropes, but Punk pulls him away and tries to reapply the hold before Heyman gets on the apron. Punk grabs Heyman and punches him in the face! Heyman falls to the floor, and Punk avoids the spear! Bron tumbles outside, Punk dives towards him but hits Bron’s forearm! Punk is by the announce table while Bron climbs up top…Bron dives through Punk and the announce table! Back into the ring, Bron pulls the straps down and goes for a spear, but runs into Punk’s knee! GTS! CM Punk retains the World Championship!

Winner: CM Punk (20:59 shown via pinfall)
