We’re in Boston! Any wrestlers from there? The Judgment Day are WALKING! Bayley & Lyra Valkyria are CHATTING! The Usos are WALKING! Je’Von Evans is WALKING and meets ishowspeed. CM Punk & Roman Reigns are here!
Last Monday, Oba Femi gave Brock Lesnar a Fall From Grace! There was much rejoicing.
Welp, here comes the pain! Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman make their way to the ring, with Brock wearing his new “FAF5” t-shirt. Paul introduces himself and Brock, running down a list of his accomplishments including “Main Event of WrestleMania”. Paul tells the fans they’re pissing off Brock Lesnar. Last week, Brock laid waste to 15-20 masked men. Then he got distracted by Seth Rollins, which is when a man that’s so overhyped by WWE and is a wannabe ruler, took advantage of Brock in that situation. Paul is talking about Oba Femi. The saddest part of it all is the same narrative coming out of the WWE hype machine again. The Undertaker couldn’t conquer Brock. There was Goldberg, Braun Strowman, Dean
Ambrose, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles & John Cena, they couldn’t conquer Brock & Oba won’t either. The best moment of Oba’s career will be putting his foot on Brock’s chest last week. Brock will conquer him at WrestleMania.
The lights go out! The green lasers hit & Oba Femi struts to the ring while the fans bark & chant his name. Brock kicks Oba & lifts him for the F5, but Oba slips out and clotheslines Brock over the top rope! Oba yells at Brock while Brock gets up. Paul talks Brock into backing away. Brock yells that Oba’s not that lucky, then leaves.
Michael Cole & Corey Graves talk about the upcoming COLLISION between Brock & Oba. They throw to Dirty Dom, who says this match with Penta shouldn’t be happening. If not for Finn Balor, he’d still be IC Champion. Finn got what he deserved. Now Dom can focus on Penta and once again become the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.
Jey yells to hit his music, and the Usos yeet their way to the ring.
Non-Title Match: Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory & Logan Paul: We see clips from the flag football competition this past weekend involving Logan & Tom Brady. Apparently there’s some type of beef, I’m not really sure. What the hell is football? Theory & Jey start. Theory with a shoulderblock. Jey responds with a flying elbow. Jimmy tags in and they hit the double elbowdrop for two. Logan grabs Jimmy, eventually Jimmy gets knocked out of the ring. Logan clotheslines Jimmy into the timekeeper’s area, then we go to commercial as Logan talks about eating.
Cole pays tribute to Dennis Condrey as we return to Jimmy going for and eventually tagging Jey. Jey with some Yeet punches. Theory gets sent into the corner, he pulls off the turnbuckle pad and hits Jey with it! That gets two, then Theory hits a high-risk move. Jey with a spear! Jey goes up top but Logan crotches him on the exposed turnbuckle! Logan readys the knucks, but LA Knight appears! He sends Logan into the ringpost and tosses Jey the knucks! Jey blasts Theory with the knucks right in front of the referee! That’ll merit a disqualification.
Winner: Austin Theory & Logan Paul (4:25 shown via disqualification)
Jey runs back to the ring and hits Logan with the knucks! The Usos & Knight celebrate afterward.
Cole & Graves send us to a recap of what happened between CM Punk & Roman Reigns recently. They’re here tonight!
Becky Lynch is WALKING! We’ll hear from her next!
Becky Lynch’s music hits, and The Man makes her way to the ring. We see clips of AJ beating Bayley then getting attacked by Becky last week. Becky talks about how they boo her and cheer someone that abandoned them for a decade. Becky took ten months off, not ten years, they got tired of seeing her succeed. She went home to the people that really appreciate her, and when she came back she went for the IC Championship and made it the most important & interesting title in all of wrestling. She’s proud of that title, she made it, but now she has to watch as AJ prances around like she deserves the title. Becky tried to take a break after Elimination Chamber, but when she went home her daughter was singing that stupid Light It Up song and skipping around the house and flipping her hair. It’s like she doesn’t realize her mom is the greatest female wrestler of all time. AJ’s greatest claim to fame was that she mastered the Divas era. Becky murdered it. That’s exactly what she’ll do to AJ Lee.
AJ Lee’s music hits and she runs to the ring! Becky runs away from ringside, so AJ gets a microphone and stands on the announce table. The audio takes a minute to kick on, but AJ says that she’s walked Becky like a dog. Becky needs to be embarrassed again so AJ can get her out of her life. AJ says she’ll make Becky tap on the biggest stage of all. She’ll show why she’s Becky’s daughter’s favorite wrestler. She’ll defend the title against Becky at WrestleMania. Becky says that AJ skipped right into her trap. WrestleMania is her domain, that’s where she’s The Man. The last time AJ competed at WrestleMania, she resigned the day after and we didn’t hear from her for a decade. She’ll save AJ the trouble, she’ll end her and we’ll never hear from her again. Welcome to the big time!
Jimmy appreciates the help from LA. LA thought Jey would hide the knucks. Jey’s not hiding anything, everyone’s got to get got. LA thinks Jey sounds like Roman, Jey gets mad and storms off. Jimmy tells LA he should mind his words when talking about the family.
Derrick White & Joe Mazzula are at ringside! Cole whispers “Go Knicks”.
Je’Von Evans vs. Grayson Waller (w/Kofi Kingston): Tieup and a headlock by Waller. Shoulderblock, Grayson pushes Evans off the ropes, Evans flips out of Grayson’s way and dropkicks him. Evans gets bouncy with the rana, sending Waller outside. Evans dives into Waller! Back in the ring, Evans with a frog crossbody for two. Waller with some knee strikes, he sends Evans outside. Kofi keeps his distance. Grayson yells at Kofi to help, but Evans jumps onto Grayson and Kofi backs away. Je’Von mounts the announce table and tells Corey that they outside as we go to commercial.
Grayson facewashes Evans as we return, but runs into Je’Von’s boot. Evans with some kicks, then a springboard splash. Red Dot kick gets two. Waller & Evans exchange strikes. Waller with a knee, then a right hand. Evans with a German suplex. Waller runs into a kick, then a knee. Waller crotches Je’Von, then drops him on his head for two. Je’Von sent into the ringpost, then Waller gets superkicked on the top turnbuckle. Evans flips off the turnbuckle, re-joins Waller and hits a top rope rana! OG Cutter ends the match.
Winner: Je’Von Evans (5:54 via pinfall)
Kofi explains to Waller he didn’t want to get him disqualified. He wanted Waller to win on his own.
Paul Heyman tells Adam Pearce to schedule a match next week at MSG with the Usos defending the World Tag Team Championship against the Vision in a street fight. Pearce says he’ll consider it. Pearce tells Paul to go to the ring. Paul asked him earlier for some time to address Seth Rollins, and that time is now. Paul’s had it with everyone here. He storms off, and Pearce says he won’t miss Heyman at all.
Paul Heyman stands in the ring and leans against the ropes. He’s having a really bad night, not just because he’s relegated to a contractually obligated appearance in Boston, but there’s no one left for him to hide behind. Bronson & Bron won’t be back anytime soon. Brock is so pissed off he left. Logan & Austin are both half-conscious and won’t be any help. Seth Rollins is stalking him. Paul is a man that’s been pushed too far. Seth feels the same way, so there isn’t room here for both of them. It’s not a challenge to fight at WrestleMania or tonight, but what other choice does he have? Maybe Seth should come down now and put Paul out of his misery. They can do it right here & now.
We see a masked man entering the ring. Paul might be afraid, but a man has to do what a man has to do. Paul stands with his back to the masked man, who mounts the announce table. Seth Rollins removes his hoods, and some of Boston’s finest appear to stand between Seth & Paul. The police take Seth away while Paul mentions that he’s filed a restraining order that will keep Seth 50 feet from him. Seth will go to jail, he’ll lose his job his wife will marry half the locker room, and Paul will adopt his daughter so she won’t go through life…well, that’s enough of that, and Seth runs down to the ring and smacks Paul! The police put Rollins in handcuffs and take him away. Paul laughs while down in the corner.
Lots of talk about Roux tonight on this show!
Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane): Bayley & Asuka start. The Kairi distraction leads to Asuka taking advantage. Lyra tags in with some kicks. Bayley with a rolling elbow & sliding clothesline to Asuka for two. Bayley tries to kick Asuka, Asuka & Kairi evade and Kairi takes Bayley & Lyra down. Back in the ring, Asuka & Kairi hit a few big moves on Bayley, then pose as we go to commercial!
Bayley kicks Kairi away, she & Asuka argue while Bayley makes the tag. Lyra with some kicks & clotheslines to Asuka & Kairi. Lyra with a cartwheel kick and sitout powerbomb on Kairi for two. Lyra with a stalling suplex, but Kairi reverses mid-move into a DDT. Asuka tags in, she hits a codebreaker & Kairi hits a neckbreaker on Lyra for two. Lyra kicks Asuka in the corner, Bayley tags in and hits the top rope elbow on Asuka for two. Asuka Germans Bayley, Lyra knocks Sane off the apron. Asuka props Lyra in the Tree of Woe, Kairi hits the Ghetto Stomp for two. Asuka kicks Bayley’s head off. Bayley hits the Bayley to Belly on the announce table, then goes to the barricade to jump on Asuka, Kairi pulls Asuka off & Bayley bounces off the table. Lyra takes Kairi back into the ring and hits Nightwing for three.
Winner: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria (5:56 shown via pinfall)
JACKIE REDMOND is in business attire & congratulates Bayley & Lyra in the ring. She asks about the pressure of WrestleMania. Bayley says they feel no pressure, they feel pretty damn good. Lyra calls out Lash & Nia, they’re the ones that can beat them. Bayley says they run the tag division, next week they’re in MSG…the fans don’t like that one. Bayley says they’ll beat Nia & Lash.
We get an NXT Origins video featuring Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany talks about how important NXT was for her development. She took her character over the top. Winning the championship helped make her the future of the business. Eventually she became a big, beautiful WWE Superstar.
Ishowspeed daps up Penta, and Penta teachs him how to do the Penta walk. Dragon Lee shows up and speed talks about being a dog. Dragon thanks him for their match, and Penta says they can do it again anytime.
Adam Pearce talks with Ishowspeed, who is having the time of his life. Danhausen is here! Danhausen asks Speed how he has so many followers. Danhausen pitches a YouTube show, Speed turns it down, so Danhausen curses him! Speed asks what he’s talking about, Pearce tells him to have a good night and rushes off.
Graves & Cole introduce some footage from Friday night. Randy Orton beat up Matt Cardona & called him a mark ass stooge, everyone loved it.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Penta (c) vs. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio: Liv Morgan comes out with Dom, but Stephanie Vaquer attacks from behind! She gets a shot in on Dom before Liv fights back and sends her into the wall. They fight in the Gorilla Position! The referees & agents pull them apart as we go to commercial.
JD McDonagh has joined Dom at ringside as we return, and Penta makes his entrance after Dom messes with Cole’s papers. Dom interrupts Alicia Taylor’s introductions and attacks Penta. The bell rings and Dom stomps Penta in the corner. Elbow in the corner, Penta upa and over, hits the rana. Backbreaker & a superkick from Penta. Penta with the handstand into the dropkick. Penta runs into a dropkick from Dom, then Dom hits a dive into a tornado DDT! Looked kinda awkward on the landing, we go to commercial!
Penta kicks Dom as we return. Penta with a sling blade, Dom goes outside so Penta dives onto him. Back in the ring, Penta hits a twisting suplex for two. Penta hits his Driver for two. Has he beat anybody with that recently? Dom hits a falcon arrow for two. Dom sends Penta into the rope, goes for the 619 but gets kicked instead. JD on the apron, Penta gets distracted and that leads to the 619. Dom goes up top, but Finn Balor’s music hits! Finn walks down to the ring, JD runs up to meet him and Finn kicks his ass. Finn sends JD into the crowd, Dom goes for the frog splash and Penta rolls him up for a three count!
Winner: Penta (4:38 shown via pinfall)
Finn drags Dom back into the ring and starts punching away. Sling blade! Shotgun dropkick! JD pulls Dom out of the ring before Finn can hit the Coup de Grace, so Finn dives onto both of them! Finn hits the Final Cut on JD and Dom runs into the audience. Finn hits the shotgun dropkick & Coup de Grace on JD while Dom looks on from the crowd. Play Finn’s music!
After some clips from earlier, we see the Tale of the Tape between Brock & Oba.
Next Week: Brock Lesnar Live! Nia Jax & Lash Legend defend against Lyra Valkyria & Bayley! IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez! Usos vs. Paul & Theory!
CM Punk walks up to Jimmy Uso. Jimmy says that Punk should be careful, his brother’s on the warpath. Punk thanks him and heads to the ring.
LIKE MUSSOLINI! After a commercial, Punk asks if we heard Big Jim’s warning. His brother, Roman’s cousin, is on the warpath tonight. Punk supposes he should watch what he says. The audience says no, so Punk goes along with them. Roman can’t do anything without his cousins and they can’t do anything without him. The whole family always needs help, none of them can be World Heavyweight Champion. Roman said his entire Bloodline can come after him, Punk says that none of them have even looked at him cross. They say & do awful things to each other to sell the big title fight, but these are all words. Punk is tired of talking. Roman did say one thing that pissed him off last week. He called Punk old! It’s not what he said, but who said it. His young boy does not get to disrespect him and call him old. Punk asks Boston if he’s old, the Yeses seem to have it. If Punk said he wasn’t old he’d be a liar. He’s not ashamed of it, he’s proud of it. If he was ashamed, he’d be covering his whiskers with Just For Men like Roman does. He’s middle aged & crazy like Terry Funk. He’s the same age Nolan Ryan was when he beat Robin Ventura’s ass. Gordie Howe played hockey until he was 52, he was Mr. Hockey. Punk is Mr. Game 7, age is just a number. He’s old but not insecure. He feels great, like the best in the world, and it’s great to be alive. Roman underestimates him. This old man dropped him on his ass with one punch. At WrestleMania, Roman will go to sleep and wake up Monday morning and realize he got beat by the old man. Someone who didn’t underestimate him and still couldn’t get the job was Gunther. Another one was Jey Uso. If Punk’s going to fight all of the Samoans, he’ll start with Jey again. Is Jey gonna yeet him to death?
Jey Uso walks down to the ring. Jey enters the ring and says Punk’s ass is old. He’s been hit in the head a few too many times since he’s still running his mouth about Jey’s family & him. He’ll run it back on Jey’s old ass right now! Punk says he’s not dressed for a match, but he’ll put the title on the line right now! Jimmy Uso walks down and asks Jey what he’s doing. Jey isn’t thinking, all he sees is red. Because of that, they got DQed tonight and their titles are on the line next week. Jey needs to lock in and leave Punk to the OTC. He’s got nothing to do with them. Jey says he does, and Roman’s not even out here. So that brings Roman Reigns out. Roman enters the ring and stares Punk down. Jimmy & Jey survey the situation. Roman says the last time he checked, they already had a tag match. Jimmy says that’s right, and it’s done now. Roman says as respectfully as he can for Jimmy to get his brother and leave his ring. Punk says they should stay since he needs the help. Jey charges at Punk, Jimmy separates them and Roman Superman punches Punk.
Jey yells at Roman that he knows what to do, so Roman gets in the ring and spears Punk! Jey keeps yelling at Roman to get Punk, and Roman abides. He sends Punk into the ringpost a couple of times. The agents are powerless to stop things as Roman powerbombs Punk through the table! Roman paces back & forth as the fans chant for one more time. There’s only one announce table! Michael comments that Punk is laughing, which he is while Roman walks off. Punk says he’s not the one that needs help as our live event comes to an end. So long for now!
