Hey kids! Steve Cook here with you for the latest edition of WWE Raw on Netflix! This week appears to be all about John Cena, since his Last Match will be on Saturday night. We’ll hear from Gunther tonight, as he plans to make Cena quit. John Cena has never been about quitting, but if one man can make him quit, it might be the Ring General. We’ve also got a big Tag Team Championship match tonight along with some other things, so let’s hook em up!

If you’d like to chime in with your own thoughts on tonight’s show, feel free to join your fellow 411 Maniacs down in the comment section! As the legendary Larry Csonka always said: Have fun and don’t be a dick. When I’m not here you can catch me on the social media from time to time.

Then. Now. Forever. Together!

We see clips of John Cena announcing The Last Time Is Now Tournament, then a recap of said tournament. Zack Ryder was there. Gunther remains.

We’re in Kansas City! The lights dim, the classical music plays, and Gunther appears. The fans want Cena, Gunther tells them to not get their hopes up. Right now is his time. In 5 days, he will be the last opponent for John Cena. John Cena will face the best professional wrestler of all time on Saturday. Beating Cena on Saturday is not enough for him. Gunther will break his spirit. He’ll bully Cena, drop him on his head and he’ll squeeze on him until he’s forced to give up.

Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett are at ringside. Rey Mysterio is WALKING! Lyra & Bayley are WALKING! AJ Styles & Dragon Lee are WALKING! Stephanie Vaquer is WALKING! IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley are WALKING!

IYO SKY (w/Rhea Ripley) vs. Kairi Sane (w/Asuka): Oba Femi is shown at ringside. I’d hate to sit behind that guy, he’ll face Cody Rhodes on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Kairi begs off from early strikes. IYO sends her into the corner, gets a boot, flips out of a counter. Some near-falls & reversals early on. Sane mocks SKY’s taunt, then takes her over with a rana. IYO ranas Kairi to the mat, then hits the moonsault for three!

Winner: IYO SKY (8:28 shown via pinfall)

Rhea & IYO pose afterward.

Logan Paul walks up to the rest of the Vision and suggests that something needs to be done about Rey Mysterio slapping him in the face. Paul Heyman points out that he never had backup. Paul hands Logan some brass knucks just in case.

We get a War Raiders video package to tell us they’re stronger than ever.

Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor: Logan Paul attacks Rey during his entrance. Lotta boos, not a lot of impact. He loads up the knucks, but Rey fights back, Logan finally gets a shot in before getting in 619 position. The masked man attacks Rey! Security chases off the masked man so Logan can knock Rey out with brass knucks.

LA Knight’s music hits and he chases Logan out of the ring. LA tells Logan to stay right there. Just when he thought the Vision couldn’t suck anymore, Logan’s sorry ass joined up. He wants Logan to pay right here tonight. We’ll see if that gets made official.

It got made official! LA Knight vs. Logan Paul TONIGHT!

World Tag Team Championship Match: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar): Je’Von Evans is bouncing at ringside. Evans & Leon Slater will take Styles & Lee on Saturday Night, assuming Styles & Lee get through this match. I’m doing more to make this not seem like a foregone conclusion than WWE. New Day is at ringside too, in case you wanted to forget about them. Erik gets worked over early. Erik & Ivar catch Dragon Lee, then Styles tries to dive on them, doesn’t work, Styles gets crossbodied on the floor and we go to commercial.

The New Day come into the ring afterwards like they deserve a title shot or something, then the Uso music hits! Time to yeet! Jimmy & Jey seem to be making their intentions clear. The Usos are now in their city and have an announcement to make, they’re back in the tag team division. Jimmy points out all of Jey’s Ls lately. Jey says they’ll get back to us. They need gold! AJ & Dragon don’t know about the Usos, but the New Day does! Jey says they’ll run through the New Day like they always do. New Day begs off, then the Usos stare down AJ & Dragon. They’d love that match!

Stephanie Vaquer is WALKING!

The Royals catcher not named Salvador Perez is at ringside. JACKIE REDMOND introduces Stephanie Vaquer. Jackie puts Stephanie over before asking who’s next. Stephanie wants to face everybody. She speaks through actions. She says the women’s division is better than 15 years ago. Nikki Bella’s music hits. Nikki says that Kansas City doesn’t deserve her presence, but she’s not done with Stephanie and demands a rematch. Raquel Rodriguez sends Nikki into the ringpost, then tells Stephanie to name the time & place she’ll take her title. Well then.

LA Knight warms up.

We get a video package with everyone putting John Cena over, even Becky Lynch.

Finn Balor talks about how it was an easy night for him. Liv Morgan is a little bit concerned about Raquel going after the Women’s World Champion. Liv wants to be in Roxanne’s corner tonight, since apparently they’ll be the next Tag Champs. Roxanne seems surprised by the news.

Lyra Valkyria (w/Bayley) vs. Roxanne Perez (w/Liv Morgan): Sol Ruca is at ringside, she’ll be facing Bayley on Saturday night. Lyra lifts Roxanne for a Northern Lights for two. Winner: Logan Paul (9:44 shown via pinfall)

Spear by Bron! TSUNAMI! TSUNAMI! LA Knight has been destroyed here. We go to commercial.

Paul Heyman doesn’t understand why people are booing. On January 5, we will have a new champion and his name is Bron Breakker. Bron wonders where Punk is. He doesn’t buy this new nice guy CM Punk. He’s a fraud! He looks like the biggest crack head Bron’s ever seen! Bron wants to face the CM Punk from 2011-12-13, the guy that beat the Rock and went on a historic reign. Bron is on his hands & knees and wants the old CM Punk, so he can beat the greatest wrestler to lace a pair of boots. Otherwise, he’ll take his title and his wife too. On January 5, it will be Spear 1-2-3. Logan & Bronson run backstage to take care of LA Knight. LA keeps fighting, but they powerbomb him through a table. Bronson throws him into a car.
