Hit the green lasers! Oba Femi struts to the ring as the fans chant his name. The SmackDown ring announcer is here tonight! I don’t recall his name, they’ll show it later. Michael Cole & Corey Graves are still here. The fans chant Oba’s name & bark. Oba informs us that the ruler has arrived. Kept it short & sweet! The fans chant for Oba and he hits his pose.

Asuka talks about IYO choosing Rhea over her own family, she’ll always be her sempai, yadda yadda yadda, How’s it been working out since she devoted herself to Rhea? Rhea’s a champion & IYO is nothing. IYO tried to corrupt Kairi Sane too. Kari beat IYO last week, they’ll beat her & Rhea tonight. They are not ready for Asuka!

Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY vs. Asuka & Kairi Sane: Rhea is our new WWE Women’s Champion! That’s a positive development. There’s something mesmerizing about the Kaubki Warriors entrance, not sure what it is. IYO & Kairi start, they exchange armbars and Kairi pulls some hair to get the advantage. Kairi into the corner, sent over the apron. IYO avoids a top rope move. Kairi does the IYO taunt, then a flying headscissors followed by a dropkick. Kairi gets rolled up, IYO hits a double underhook backbreaker on Kairi and tags Rhea in. Rhea tosses IYO into Kairi and gets a two count. Rhea tosses Kairi around some and Asuka tags in. They exchange strikes, Asuka wins the exchange and hits a running knee, but Rhea hits one of her own. Asuka kicks Rhea out of the ring after a distraction spot, then Kairi hits the insane elbow on Rhea on the floor! We go to commercial!

Rhea gets covered for two as we return. Assisted Insane Elbow is prevented, Rhea hits Kairi with a running kick. Tag to IYO! IYO with strikes to Asuka. Kairi’s foot is thrown into Asuka, IYO does some flips and dropkicks them down! Bullet Train Attack in both corners! One extra for Asuka! A kick gets a two count. Rhea tags in, she hits the Razor’s Edge & IYO hits a missile dropkick, and that gets two on Asuka! Asuka avoids Riptide and knocks IYO off the apron. Codebreaker by Asuka, kick by Kairi and a double knee gets two. IYO with a double stomp on Asuka, Kairi with some shots to IYO. Kairi sends IYO flying towards Asuka in a very scary looking spot. Rhea hits the Riptide on Kairi, and SKY hits the moonsault for three!

Winners: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY (8:33 shown via pinfall)

Asuka is yelling at a downed Kairi while Rhea & IYO celebrate.

Adam Pearce congratulates Penta on retaining the IC Championship at WrestleMania. Je’Von Evans comes in and congratulates Penta, but he’s coming for his championship anyway. Penta says CERO MIEDO & walks off. Pearce introduces the newest member of Raw’s roster, Ethan Page. Ethan makes it clear that he’s going after the IC title too, so Pearce suggests they have a match tonight. Evans says that Page isn’t taking his spot, Page says he wants Penta’s spot.

Cole & Graves are joined by Marcelo Rodriguez & Jerry Soto at ringside. Royce Keys is at ringside! You can catch him every Friday night on SmackDown.

CM Punk walks backstage, through the Gorilla position and out to the ring. His theme music now starts after he walks through backstage to the stage under a spotlight, then he says it’s Clobberin Time. That’s some next-level entrance extender right there. Punk soaks in the cheers, then talks about how he’s been dealing with a lot of loss. His MMA trainer passed in October. In November, Larry crossed the rainbow bridge. WWE suffered a number of losses involving behind the scenes employees. He appreciates the behind the scenes employees that make what he does possible. He lost a friend earlier this month, all of those losses sting a bit more than losing the World Championship. The fans helped him heal and get through those losses. Being champion gave him a reason not to slow down and reduce himself to a puddle of tears. He thanks the fans for helping him through those losses, so they’ll help him get over last night. He wasn’t even supposed to be World Champion. He was going to accept winning and losing the title in 3 minutes at SummerSlam and having that be the end. He could have went home, but he stayed ready. He became champion, and if he didn’t stay ready, Jey Uso would be talking out here right now. He likes Jey too. He may have lost, but he’s still the Best in the World. He proved it last night. He gave everything he had, he’s not going to complain or go on vacation, he’ll stay ready because you never know when a championship opportunity will fall out of the sky.

Cody Rhodes enters! He’s got quite the shiner from Saturday night and is walking a little less loose than usual. Yeah, I got Punk if they’re wrestling tonight. Punk takes a close look at Cody’s face, they laugh. Punk asks if he went over his time and if he’s out here during Cody’s time. Cody said it is Punk’s time, and he was standing by & watching. This isn’t what he expected. Punk asks if Cody thought he was going to freak out, or crash out. That line gets no response. Cody was worried Punk would freak out. Cody’s glad Punk received his flowers from Vegas. Cody’s the one standing here and feeling & looking like a loser. Punk asks if Cody thinks that he should feel like a loser. Punk says some people think he looks like a loser. On Saturday night, Cody beat a WWE Hall of Famer. He also beat a friend & a mentor. Punk hated his opponent! It was easy! Cody won, and Punk lost. Punk quotes several songs and talks about his path. Cody’s path is to keep winning. Punk’s is to stay ready, you never know when a Championship opportunity will fall out of the sky. Punk drops the mike and leaves the ring. Cody says “Just say when.” Play Cody’s music!

Finn Balor talks about how Dom got everything he had coming to him when the Demon put him down. He’s not finished with Judgment Day. He expected this type of betrayal from Dom, but JD? JD was a kid that walked into a gym in Ireland, and Finn helped him grow into one of the best performers on Earth. When he needed someone in Judgment Day that would have his back no matter what, he chose JD. Finn brought JD into this business, and tonight he’ll take him out of it.

Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page: Page with a headlock, then a shoulderblock. Evans bounces into a rollup for two, then flips out of Pages’s way a couple of times before matrixing into a Stunner. Ethan with a cheapshot while the ref’s back is turned to him. Backbreaker by Page. Evans kicks Page in the face, then chops him. Some punches, then Ethan hits him with one and a back elbow for two. Page with a chinlock. Evans hits a dropkick, then bounces into a headscissors that sends Ethan outside. WE OUTSIDE, and Evans flies onto Page. We go to commercial!

We return and Evans is hitting a suicide dive! Seems we didn’t miss much. Back in the ring, Je’Von with some strikes, then a springboard crossbody gets two. Evans goes up top again but Page tries to follow him. Page ends up hitting an iconoclasm, then a powerslam gets two. Page rips Evan’s shirt off, there’s some tape on. Evans misses a moonsault on the floor, but sends Page into the post. A superkick puts Ethan on the table, but before anything can happen, here’s Rusev! Evans fights him off, but has to beat a count by the referee. The Twisted Grin gets the three count!

Winner: Ethan Page (6:46 shown via pinfall)

Rusev stomps the bejeezus out of Evans and puts him in the Accolade! Penta’s music plays! Penta runs down and kicks away at Rusev. Penta superkicks Rusev down. Ethan distracts Penta, then Rusev hits the Machka Kick on Penta. Ethan decides to walk away while Rusev puts Penta in the Accolade. Rusev poses with the Intercontinental Championship belt. The fans don’t like it!

The Judgment Day is WALKING! We’ll hear from them next!

Paige & the Bella Twins are shown at ringside! Paige & Brie are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Liv Morgan’s new song plays as she & the Judgment Day make their way to the ring. We see clips of Liv’s entrance, then her defeating Stephanie Vaquer with some help from her friends. The fans say that Liv deserves it. Well, most of them anyway. It’s the smartest thing they said all day since they’re in the presence of the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. Liv wants to thank JD, Roxanne, Dom & Raquel. They’ve been her rock and she wouldn’t be there without them. She wants to thank her WrestleMania opponent Stephanie Vaquer. They beat the hell out of each other, but she reminded her of a feeling she hasn’t had in a long time, that she’s the most talented woman in WWE. It’s her ring, her show, her division and her championship. If we thought she was messy & troubled before…

SOL RUCA’S MUSIC HITS! Sol makes her way down to the ring, interrupting the new Women’s World Champion. The fans seem happy to see her. Sol’s been watching Liv, she’s an inspiration to her. Liv is the top woman in this division, and she deserves it. Liv says she has some nerve coming out during her celebration with her family. She appreciates Sol’s kind words, but Sol is no Liv Morgan. Sol can save herself by getting out of her ring right now. Sol didn’t come out to pick a fight, but she won’t back down from one either!

Adam Pearce interrupts. It’s the Raw after WrestleMania and people are acting like they want to see a fight! Pearce sends Jessika Karr to the ring, and they’ll see a fight right now!

Paige & the Bella Twins are shown at ringside! Paige & Brie are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

We return and Liv is going for the three amigos. Sol reverses the last suplex! Sol & Liv exchange strikes while getting up. Sol gets the advantage, hits a couple of spinning elbows on Liv, then a German suplex in the apron. Sol on the middle rope, missile dropkick and a kip up! Running knee gets two. Who signed Sol’s pants? Sol jumps off the turnbuckle into a Codebreaker by Liv that got two. Sol rolls through Oblivion, kicks Liv and hits the Sol Snatcher! Liv rolls out of the ring, preventing the victory! Raquel & Roxanne check on Liv until Sol hits the Space Flying Tiger Drop! Liv gets rolled back into the ring, and Zaria attacks Sol! Zaria sends Sol into the ringpost and spinebusts her on the floor. Zaria backs away and of course the official saw none of this because she hates Sol as much as she hates Becky Lynch. Sol gets back in the ring at 9.98, so Liv hits Oblivion for the three count.

Winner: Liv Morgan (8:54 shown via pinfall)

Liv, Roxanne & Raquel’s celebration is interrupted by Stephanie Vaquer! Stephanie & Liv walk up to each other, Stephanie says a few words and Liv holds up her title. Yep, that’s it.

Cole & Graves introduce some celebrities and mock Peter Rosenberg before throwing to a Brock Lesnar video. Godsmack’s “I Stand Alone” is a good choice.

Paul Heyman, Logan Paul & Austin Theory make their way to the ring. After a commercial break, Heyman introduces himself. He had a whole speech prepared, but the beginning of this show threw him off a bit. His favorite part of WrestleMania is to expect the unexpected, and what he saw will live on in peoples’ hearts for a long time. Earlier tonight, Punk was kissing the asses of everyone behind the scenes, but the production team forgot to take Brock out of the “Now” portion of the pre-show video. Paul tells the truck to put him in the “Forever” section, and Brock will forever be the baddest to be in a WWE ring. Heyman gives us one more BROCK LESNAR, and the fans thank Brock. Heyman wants to talk about the Now, WWE is experiencing a resurgence in the tag team division thanks to the World Tag Team Champions, the Vision. Heyman introduces a personal message from Logan Paul.

Logan takes the microphone and says the only reason the Usos & La Knight stole the victory from him & Austin was because of that backstabbing weasel IShowSpeed. Logan is sick of these YouTubers & streamers thinking they can do what they do. He hates those outsiders! Nothing that happened at WM matters because IShowSpeed left with a piece of his fist lodged in his face, and the Vision are still World Tag Team Champions. The fans booed through this whole thing, by the way. Heyman wants to take a moment to realize the great favor done for him by Gunther. Heyman is willing to repay his favor at any time, and the best assist of the weekend belongs to the man that cut Rollins in half. Heyman introduces the returning Bron Breakker!

Bron enters the ring and embraces Austin & Logan before taking the microphone from Heyman. The fans bark. Bron was thinking about how it was one year ago that Bron took leadership of the Vision in this arena because Seth was too weak. Bron’s favorite part about WM weekend was watching Rollins getting so close to beating Gunther, and Breakker ruined everything for him. The fans sing Rollins’ song. Bron hopes Seth is back there, or watching somewhere, from here on out, Bron will attack him every single day.

Seth Rollins runs down to the ring with a chair and attacks the Vision, but that quickly goes poorly for him after hitting a huge shot on Bron. Logan & Austin beat Seth down with punches. The Street Profits’ music hits! Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins run down and attack Theory & Logan! The tag champs get sent to the floor, Montez dives onto them! They brawl over Bron & Heyman into the crowd. Breakker runs into a superkick in the ring! They go back & forth, Breakker avoids a stomp and hits a spear! Bron tears Seth’s shirt off to show off the athletic tape. Bron talks some shit and says the people will remember him as a shell of what he used to be. Bron hits another big spear. Seriously, what the hell happened to the back of Bron’s head? Did the chair scrape it off?

JD McDonagh says it’s time to get serious. He tells Finn to put aside everyone else and just think about them. Finn changed so much he doesn’t recognize him. JD’s defended Finn for twenty years. Finn cost them gold. It was easy to throw 20 years away. JD will step out of the shadow and prove that the Finn Balor we all knew & loved is dead.

Trick Williams is shown at ringside! He’s the new WWE United States Champion!

Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh: JD has some rib tape as the result of his ladder match exploits last night. Finn clotheslines JD over the top rope and attacks him outside. JD sends Finn into the barricade but gets dropkicked over it. Finn & JD fight out into the audience. JD heads up the steps, but Finn takes him back down. Balor gets thrown into the barricade in the timekeeper’s area, JD gets clotheslined and tossed into the ring so the bell can ring. JD drops Finn with an elbow & punches away. Finn hits a big kick and goes up top, JD avoids the coup de grace and sends Finn to the floor. JD holds his ribs as we go to commercial.

We return to Finn fighting out of a chinlock, then hitting a reverse DDT. Finn’s mouth is spitting blood, what are these people doing to each other tonight? Finn stomps JD’s sternum, then hits a sling blade. JD avoids the shotgun dropkick and covers for 2. JD with the giant headbutt for two. JD goes up top, moonsault gets knees and the shotgun dropkick connects. Finn hits the Coup de grace for three!

Winner: Finn Balor (3:14 shown via pinfall)

Dom attacks Finn from behind afterwards, but Finn fights back and sets up for the Coup de Grace before JD can pull Dom away.

JACKIE REDMOND is with Gunther! Gunther feels fantastic. He proved that everything he said about Seth was right. There is no him & Paul Heyman, there is only him. The only thing Paul owes him is a big favor, and his next goal is the World Championship. LA Knight appears and congratulates Gunther. Gunther isn’t the only one with eyes on that World Championship. Gunther needed a three man advantage to win at WM, he didn’t. YEAH!

Next Week: Becky Lynch! A Joe Hendry Concert? WHAT? HE’S HERE NOW? YEAH!

Rhea says goodbye to IYO, then walks by Liv Morgan. They agree they’ll be seeing each other sometime in the future.

Roman Reigns exits his vehicle! Roman walks through the backstage area and meets up with Jimmy & Jey Uso backstage! Roman asks them to accompany him out there, and they comply. After a commercial break, the fans chant for the OTC. Roman asks Las Vegas for their acknowledgement. He was going to keep it simple tonight, then he ran into his cousins and it makes sense that they discuss some family business first. Roman says he misses this. Jey yeets. Roman misses having the full trust, respect & admiration of the Usos, and doing business with them. They’re separated and scattered right now, people like Punk can talk shit about them. Some rapper talking about Jey is crazy to Roman. Jey’s the yeet man, he changed the whole environment and he’s got washed rappers stepping up to him? It’s because they’re separated. When they all come together, nobody can touch them. They ran the business for four years straight. Roman’s not asking for them to serve, just to stand with him.

Jimmy says that he’ll always be their Tribal Chief. Any time the Bloodline is in their city, they’re the 2s and the Bloodline are the ones! Jey & Jimmy raise their ones, then Jacob Fatu’s music hits? The Samoan Werewolf makes his way to the ring as Roman & the Usos stare at him. Roman says it’s been awhile since he’s seen Jacob. Jacob says he’s not here to acknowledge Roman. Roman suggests it must be because he wants the World Championship. Jacob doesn’t want the title, he needs it! Jacob’s not here to be a Tribal Chief, but he needs everything the Chief has. The shoe deal, the jets, the rolex, more cars, bigger houses, better schools for the kids and anything he can get for his family even if he has to go through Roman. At Backlash, we’ll know Jacob Fatu is all gas & no brakes! The fans chant along with Jacob. Roman wants all of those things for Jacob too. Maybe he can beat Roman. Can Jacob handle the burden of this title? If Jacob can’t beat him, can he handle the burden of having to acknowledge Roman? It’s thin air up here, there isn’t much footing. Roman’s not sure Jacob’s ready, so he’ll take a week to think about it. Roman will see his little cousin next week on Raw. Fatu looks on from the ring while Reigns & the Usos leave. Roman asks Jimmy to talk to Jacob as our live event comes to an end!
