Jordynne Grace Appears On WWE Smackdown, Labeled A ‘Free Agent’

Jordynne Grace is now a “free agent” within WWE, making an appearance on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. Grace appeared on Friday night’s show in a backstage segment with Nick Aldis. Aldis made a pitch to bring Grace to the Smackdown roster, saying he had big plans for Smackdown in the new year and wanted Grace to be part of them.

Grace said Aldis had given her a lot to consider before Chelsea Green came in to try and weasel out of her Women’s United States Championship match against Giulia. She said she was “mentally unwell” after the emotional ending of Stranger Things. Aldis said she would compete or be stripped of the title. You can see a clip from the segment below.

Jordynne Grace is one of several NXT stars looking to jump to the main roster as free agents. Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans have all similarly appeared on main roster shows. Fightful Select reports that Grace’s appearance is “effectively” her main roster call-up.
