Julia Hart Recalls Her In-Ring Debut in a Battle Royal Ladder Match at 18 Years Old

During a recent interview with Fightful, AEW wrestler Julia Hart spoke about making her in-ring debut in a Battle Royal Ladder Match that took place at Modist Madness in October 2019. Julia Hart was only 18 years old for her pro debut in a unique match type. Below are some highlights from Fightful:

Julia Hart on Her First Match at 18 Years Old

“Yeah, in Minnesota. Yeah, that was crazy. That was my first match. I had just turned 18, because none of the places really wanted to book me just because I wasn’t 18 yet. So I think it was just like- which makes sense, and I appreciate them doing that because you never know what could happen. So at least I was an adult and all of them were in bars. So being 18 was kind of a requirement.”

On It Being a Crazy Experience

“But yeah, I just remember getting like one of the guys I trained with, like just took me and like threw me outside the ring and everyone caught me and then threw me back in, and it wasn’t- it was crazy. It was my first ever anything to do with wrestling in front of a crowd. So.”

Julia Hart was in action on last night’s AEW Dynamite. She and Triangle of Madness members Thekla and Skye Blue lost a six-woman tag team bout against Mina Shirakawa and The Brawling Birds.
