Jack Perry, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight might’ve been forced out of the AEW Continental Classic tournament, but the combined teams of JetSpeed and Jurassic Express managed to pick up a big win over The Demand and Josh Alexander in an eight-man tag team bout tonight during the Zero Hour pre-show for AEW Worlds End 2025. Not only that, Jack Perry scored a pinfall victory over the reigning AEW National Champion.

The two teams were scheduled for an eight-man tag team bout. However, The Gates of Agony looked to take Luchasaurus out of the action. They double-teamed the wrestler and took him to the backstage area, effectively taking him out of the match before it began.

Eventually, Luchasaurus did make his return to the ring, with his arm and shoulder heavily bandaged. Despite having only one good arm, Luchasaurus still managed to even the odds for the two teams. Thanks to help from Luchasaurus, he and Jack Perry were able to isolate Ricochet. One chokeslam from Luchasaurus and a running knee strike from Perry later, and Perry scored the pinfall victory for his team.

This gives Perry an effective win over the reigning AEW National Champion. That could put Perry in the running for a future title shot at some point in the near future. Although he wasn’t victorious in the AEW Continental Classic Tournament, Perry, acting as a replacement for Darby Allin, scored two strong victories over PAC and Mike Bailey during the tournament.
