Kane Reveals His Favorite Ring Entrance and Costume

Like his storyline brother the Undertaker, Kane managed to stay fresher than many gimmick wrestlers by constantly varying his look and character, all while staying true to his core trait as an angry pyromaniac. He’s had different masks, no mask, hair, no hair, and varying degrees of body coverage.
But what was his favorite? On Mostly Sports with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker, he said, “it’s always the original Kane. when I think of Kane, that’s what I think of. So, the mask offered obviously a lot of mystique and it was just very unique and different. I was the first masked wrestler to become WWE Champion and stuff like that.”
That said, his favorite ring entrance ever involved a different look. “I’ll tell you another cool one, though,” he said. “The one without the mask and the towel over my head. The coolest entrance actually I ever had was I came out that outfit and was in shackles and chains and coming out of an ambulance surrounded by security guards like Hannibal Lecter. That was awesome.”
The outfits didn’t come without stress, though, as he acknowledged, “There’s a recurring nightmare that probably every wrestler has ever had that your music’s like you’re, you know, you’re asleep and your music’s playing. You’re having this dream that your music is playing and all of a sudden you realize, “Oh my gosh, I have to lace up my boots and I have 20 eyelets left on each boot. So, yeah, it was a source of stress for me having that much that many layers.”
