Kazuchika Okada tried to recruit The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, into The Don Callis Family during the November 10 episode of Being The Elite, presenting them with a unique gift. The AEW star offered each of the brothers his new AEW action figure, using the gesture as a bribe to convince them to join the faction.
The exchange took place as part of an ongoing storyline where Callis and Okada have been trying to persuade The Young Bucks to align with them. The Bucks, acknowledging the offer, said they needed some more time to consider it, leaving the situation unresolved.
Okada joined The Don Callis Family earlier this year and has since become one of its central figures. His latest recruitment efforts to Matt and Nick Jackson come at a time when The Young Bucks are facing uncertainty in AEW following changes to their on-screen EVP roles and declining financial status. Okada has previously extended multiple offers, including the use of his locker room and even financial incentives, all of which were declined before this latest attempt involving the action figures.
The Don Callis Family currently features Okada alongside Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Trent Beretta, Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Mark Davis, Josh Alexander, Rocky Romero, Hechicero, Wardlow, Andrade El Idolo, and El Clon, forming one of AEW’s most dominant groups.
