Ken Anderson Compliments Vince Russo as “Really Good to Me”

Vince Russo has always been one of the most controversial names in the wrestling business, with outside-the-box booking that doesn’t necessarily honor tradition, to put it mildly. Now he’s working for JCW, with the equally unconventional Insane Clown Posse. Ken Anderson recently had a chance to work with Russo down there, and in an appearance on Chris Harris’ podcast, took the time to compliment Russo’s work there, echoing Violent J’s similar comments.
“I’ve always loved working with Vince. Vince has always been really good to me,” said Anderson. “I think as he was then, he is now, and that’s — he’s got an idea of where he wants things to go, what he wants to happen. But if you have an idea, he’s totally open to changing his mind about things.”
Acknowledging some of Russo’s reputation, Anderson added, “Vince takes a lot of chances. He’s got a lot of great ideas. He’s got a lot of not so great ideas, right? Um, some of the most fun stuff that I’ve ever done in the business, the most meaningful stuff has been under Vince’s direction. And also some of the silliest stuff that I’ve ever done in the business has been under Vince’s direction. But, uh, yeah, I’ve always loved actually working with him.”
