Kevin Knight Joins Don Callis Family, Retains TNT Title On AEW Dynamite

Kevin Knight has signed on with the Don Callis Family, joining the group before retaining the TNT Championship on this week’s AEW Dynamite. The newly-heel champion was introduced as a member of Callis’ stable on Wednesday night’s show. Callis introduced Knight as a new member of his group during an in-ring promo after Andrade El Idolo picked up a dominant win over EK Vanity in less than a minute.

El Idolo did not appear happy to be having his thunder stolen, but Knight came out and embraced Callis before Mike Bailey came out for their title shot against Knight. The bout went 13 minutes, with Knight winning to retain the title. He won after Callis tripped Bailey up, allowing Knight to hit a Crash Landing for the victory. He then called out MJF for the World Title, something Andrade was doing before Callis interrupted.
