On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash talked about the comments from CM Punk about fans seeking autographs at airports and hotels.  Punk made the commments in an Instagram post where he told fans not to follow wrestlers around and harass them at public places. You can check out some highlights from Nash below:

On How the Culture of Autograph Seeking Has Changed:

“It used to be, early in my career you might go to the airport and there might be three or four younger fans that would be at the baggage claim. It just wasn’t that big of a deal. But now the card business has taken off. And you know, if you can sign a card and all of a sudden that person’s got — you just made that guy 200 bucks.”

On the Distinction between the Two Types of Encounters:

“There’s always the guy that uses his kid. He uses a seven-year-old kid to come up, and then you just sit and watch it. It’s like watching any other scam in life. You just don’t react. You just sit back first and watch. Because you never want to tell a little kid to f**k off. But if his dad’s using him like that, you know?

“And the thing is, they’ll say, ‘You can sign your name that way. I won’t be able to sell it.’ Like dude, I sign your name at these things on an eight by 10, it’s a glossy. Especially in Scotland. They say their name and with their accent. I’m thinking he’s saying Matt, and he’s saying some other name. All you need is a piece of toilet paper and a drop of hand sanitizer, and you can wipe that f**king ink pen right off the f**king [8×10] ‘I’ll sign my name. You got me.’ I don’t know if that can be removed.”

On the hardest thing for him:

“So the hardest thing to do for me is to tell — I don’t want to tell a kid no. It’s very hard to do. But if the hotel is downtown, I doubt this kid lives down there. So somebody brought him. So then it becomes, you know. Because we’d be in a bar and, like there’d be kids in the bars. And Scott would say, ‘Who’s the parent of this kid? Take your kid home, you f**king piece of s**t.’ He shouldn’t be in a bar.”

On what he does now:

“I just act like they’re not there. I don’t make eye contact, I don’t acknowledge. Because I remember we were at SummerSlam, I think it was in Cleveland the year before last. And Jay Uso was just hiding by a f**king cement pole. And then he was watching me, I was waiting on my bag. And I didn’t make eye contact, I just stood there like I didn’t –. And then my bag came. I got my bag, I said, ‘Excuse me,’ because I had to pick my bag off the thing and set it on the ground. I put my briefcase on top of my bag, and I was done. I walked out to my car service.

“And he saw me later on. He goes, ‘How do you do that?’ I said, ‘I’m not active.’ I said, ‘I’m not asking people to f**king do anything when I come to the ring.’ I’m a pedestrian that used to wrestle, so you have no right to f**k with me. But I said, ‘It’s up to you.’ To me, if you’re talent. And especially [with] the prices that these people are paying nowadays to go to these premium events, And you’re making five, seven million as one of the boys, I mean, I think you sign.”
