Kevin Nash says he had nothing to do with Hulk Hogan returning to his red and yellow Hulkamania look in 1999. During the fan questions on the latest episode of Kliq This, Nash was asked whether Hogan’s return to the old colors was his idea or Hogan’s. Hogan wore the red and yellow at WCW Road Wild in August 1999, where he beat Nash in a retirement match, ending his years in NWO colors. Nash also answered a fan question about whether WWE cutting back on house shows has led to more botches and injuries, saying wrestlers aren’t getting enough reps and comparing it to the NFL seeing more injuries as contact has been taken out of practice. You can check out his comments below:

On Hogan Going Back To Red & Yellow:

“Wasn’t mine. I know that I didn’t. It wasn’t my idea for him to go back to the old Hogan gimmick.”

On Fewer House Shows Leading to More Injuries:

“Yeah, I just think that it’s reps, man. There have been more injuries in the NFL the more contact they’ve taken out of practice. It’s like boxing, man. You have to spar. When I watched that Tyson thing, [Cus D’Amato] had you spar with no headgear. ‘False sense of security’ is what he called it.”
