Kevin Nash says it would only make sense for Shawn Michaels to take over Bruce Prichard’s spot on WWE’s creative team. On the latest episode of Kliq This, Sean Oliver brought up the report that Michaels is expected to step into Prichard’s role when Prichard retires after WrestleMania 43 next year. Nash said Michaels has already been running creative for NXT, then joked about what it would take for him to join the team himself. You can check out his comments below:
On Shawn Michaels Replacing Bruce Prichard:
“Well, I don’t know. I know nothing. But it would only make sense for Shawn to take the spot. Shawn’s basically been head of creative for NXT, and to me, it’s just another brand.”
On Whether He Could join WWE Creative:
“Looks like I’m going to have to get on the team. Get on to Orlando. If it was Zoom, I’d get four hours of Zoom every day. All I’d be doing is turning off the financials and talking wrestling.
“The first thing I would have to do is completely immerse myself in the product. I’d have to be down there. I’d have to sit down and talk to people. You can’t book people that you don’t have a feel for.”
On Working Main Roster Creative:
“No, you need to be at the events. I like to laugh, and I think I would irritate Paul. I just like to laugh too much… I don’t want to work. I’m 67 years old. I’m the oldest. Paul’s 10 years younger than me. That’s a huge difference.”
