The bout went 17 minutes and started with Rhodes going right after Owens, with Gargano getting involved and allowing Owens to fight back. Gargano played spoiler in a few moments and stood his ground with Owens and Rhodes, who both came close to winning several times.
The finish of the match saw Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes on Owens, but Randy Orton showed up and prevented a pinfall. Rhodes and Orton began fighting on the outside as Gargano got a nearfall with One Final Beat. Owens came back with a big kick and a Pop Up Powerbomb. Rhodes tried to break up the pinfall, but Orton stopped him and Owens scored the victory.
