Kit Wilson Misses WWE Smackdown Following ‘Multiple’ Travel Issues

Kit Wilson was unable to get to this week’s WWE Smackdown after he suffered what he called “multiple travel complications.” Wilson posted to Twitter on Friday to apologize to fans for not being on Friday night’s show. He noted that he had several complications including issues at the airport.

Wilson wrote:

“To everyone at Friday Night SmackDown in Barcelona tonight, and the WWE Universe watching at home, I want to apologise for not being there. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it back to Europe due to multiple travel complications and issues at the airport. I’m absolutely gutted. This is the first time I’ve ever missed a show. At this point, it honestly feels like I’m cursed and everything is falling apart. I’d also like to apologise to my mentor, The Miz, for letting him down, it won’t happen again.

“P.S. To the “dirt sheets”. Leave me alone. Stop the articles. Yes, I had over 100ml of moisturisers and creams in my bag… but Kit’s gotta look good.”

WWE was in Barcelona, Spain for tonight’s show, which aired live overseas on Netflix and will air at its usual 8 PM ET timeslot in the US on USA Network.
