It was a huge night for the AEW Women’s World Champion. Kris Statlander vanquished the biggest opponent of her career at AEW Full Gear 2025, defeating the reigning AEW TBS Champion, none other than 13 Belts Mercedes Mone, and managed to retain her title.

The finish came after Mone attempted her Mone Maker on Statlander. Statlander then managed to hit Mone with Staturday Night Fever to secure the pinfall victory.

This marks Statlander’s first major win over Mercedes Mone. Mercedes Mone previously defeated Kris Statlander to retain her TBS title last year at AEW Full Gear 2024. She beat Statlander again at AEW Worlds End 2024. Statlander finally earned a measure of redemption tonight by scoring her first decisive and clean win over the TBS Champion.

Statlander has now been champion for over two months, winning the belt in a Fatal 4-Way match at AEW All Out 2025. With singles wins over former champion Toni Storm and 13 Belts Mone, Statlander has effectively cemented her title run, proving herself as a champion to be reckoned with.
