Kris Statlander Accepts Mercedes Mone’s Full Gear Challenge, Ruins Celebration On AEW Dynamite

Kris Statlander accepted the challenge from Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s World Championship on AEW Dynamite. Statlander accapted Mone’s challenge on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite in a backstage segment. She told Renee Paquette that she would face the TBS Champion at Full Gear and put the Women’s Title on the line.

Mone laid out the challenge at WrestleDream after she defeated Mina Shirakawa. That win gave Mone her llth title; she has since won another to have 12 titles total

Mone held a celebration segment on Dynamite and bragged about her title reigns. Harley Cameron showed up with her Mini Mone puppet and mocked Mone, who put the mini into her celebration cake. Statlander then appeared from under a table and slammed Mone through said table.

AEW FulL Gear takes place on November 22nd from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It airs live on PPV and HBO Max.
