LA Knight Reveals Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble Elimination Didn’t Go as Planned

WWE Superstar LA Knight recently admitted that there is more to the story of him (and Cody Rhodes) eliminating Brock Lesnar from this year’s Royal Rumble match.
Lesnar entered the 30-man Battle Royal at number 22 and went on to eliminate Oba Femi, Ilja Dragunov, and Rey Fenix. However, his elimination came out of nowhere, as Cody Rhodes and LA Knight teamed up and threw The Beast over the top rope during Jey Uso’s entrance.
LA Knight appeared on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet this week. When CVV brought up the Lesnar elimination from the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble, The Megastar said that things didn’t go as initially planned. While he didn’t spill the beans, the 43-year-old promised to go into details at some point in the future.
“I did. I’ll tell that story someday, but it feels too new and fresh to me. But I’ll just say things went differently than they were supposed to,” Knight said.
Elsewhere in the interview, LA Knight commented on his in-ring future and his unplanned brawl with AJ Styles at a WrestleMania XL press event. You can check his comments HERE & HERE. Check out his comments below:
