Lacey Lane Makes AEW Debut, Challenges Mercedes Mone On Dynamite

Lacey Lane, the former Kayden Carter, made her AEW debut on this week’s Dynamite and battled Mercedes Mone. Lane made her first AEW appearance on this week’s show, answering Mone’s open challenge for the AEW TBS Championship after Mone said she wanted to face one of the best local talents in Florida.

Lane gave it her best shot but ultimately fell to the Mone Maker, allowing Mone to retain her title. Mone’s TBS Championship reign now stands at 500 days, having won the title from Willow Nightingale at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024. She has defended it 22 times during her reign.
