WWE Crown Jewel is still reportedly a go amid a travel advisory that was issued for Saudi Arabia earlier this week. WWE officially announced at the start of the month that the 2026 iteration of WWE Crown Jewel is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7th.

That date became a point of speculation online after the US Department of State issued a level three travel advisory for Saudi Arabia, advising citizens to reconsider traveling to the country. Some areas of the country are under a level four advisory, which means that US citizens are advised to leave the country. This is due, in the words of the advisory, “to risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity.”

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, a source in the company said that the decision of whether WWE will alter its plans is a point of discussion within the company, though it is well above said source’s head. The source confirmed that as of right now, the November 7th date is expected to remain, and that the event will take place regardless of the location. WWE is committed to that date for ESPN.

The only question at this point is whether WWE will be able to send talent and personnel to Saudi Arabia for the date, given the advisory. As is obviously the case, the status of the advisory could well change by November for better or worse. WWE has not announced any potential change in plans at this time.
