Kit Wilson vs. Axiom

-Axiom with a series of roll-ups as the announcers talk about Danhausen cursing the Cavaliers, leading to the Knicks making the NBA Finals. Chops from Axiom! Wilson bails to the floor, but Axiom follows out with a suicide dive. He heads up, but Kit avoids and catches Axiom with a diving back elbow. He sends Axiom face first into the middle buckle and hits the hip swivel. Axiom gets pulled off the ropes into powerbomb for two. Cool! Miz Corner Clothesline followed by a boot to the face gets two. Wilson using some of the Miz offense makes sense. He hooks a reverse chinlock which gets the crowd behind Axiom. He ducks a clothesline and another and hits a side kick. Wilson back with an uppercut and a sweet DDT for two. Clothesline sends Axiom to the floor and Kit skins the cat back into the ring. Kit is cool with taking a count-out, but Frazer helps Axiom beat the 10 count. If Jesse Ventura was on commentary he would be losing his mind. Axiom avoids a charge and snaps off a Half and Half Suplex. Running kick gets a two count. Another kick to the chest! Release German Suplex, but Kit rebounds off the ropes with a clothesline. Side Slam gets two! Kit up top, but Axiom knocks him off balance. SPANISH FLY! Golden Ratio finishes at 6:45.

Winner: Axiom via pin at 6:45
-MAIN EVENT BANGER! They gave these two some time (for Main Event) and they delivered a fun match. More of this every week! ***

-Fanatics commercial!

-Clash at The Castle! I was a guest on the North South Connection Podcast to discuss Roman/Jacob. Check it out if you have 16 minutes to spare!

Ivy Nile vs. Karmen Petrovic

-These two met earlier in the year with Karmen getting the win and they also faced off a few years back on Level Up. Karmen got the upset win back in March. Ivy with a side headlock, but gets shoved off and Karmen gets a shoulder tackle. She lands a trip and goes for a running boot, but Ivy avoids. Backslide from Karmen gets two. Sweep of the let gets another two count. Full Nelson submission but with Karmen locking it in with her legs. Karmen gets two off a failed slam attempt. Ivy with a clothesline and she stomps away in the corner. Running karate kick in the corner. Ivy with the vertical suplex and holds Karmen up for there for 32 seconds. Nice! Karmen gets a boot up to block a charge and gets a roll-up for two. She can’t follow and Nile throws her across the ring with a release German Suplex. Karmen blocks another suplex and starts her comeback. Spinning kick lands followed by a series of forearms. Eat-Defeat! Sliding kick connects and here are some Yes Kicks. Head Scissors into a Face Plant gets two for Karmen. Suplex is blocked but Karmen lands a super kick and a Shing Blade. Ivy crawls to the ropes and lands a punch to stagger Karmen. Slam into a Rock Bottom gets the pin at 6:38.

Winner: iv Nile via pin at 6:38
-Started slow, but they started rolling by the end. I assumed Nile wasn’t dropping two straight to Evolve’s Karmen Petrovic, but they were able to work through and have a solid match. **1/4

-SummerSlam! Minnesota!

Alpha Academy vs. Charlie Dempsey and Uriah Connors

-It’s nice they finally acknowledge that Dempsey is Regal’s son and Connor’s is Finlay’s son. One day down the line they may be fighting on the hood of a car in a parking lot. Otis starts with Dempsey and uses his weight to his advantage. Dempsey grabs an arm and works on that, but Otis with an easy slam. Tozawa in, but Dumpsey gets the edge and hits a Butterfly suplex! Connors back in and hits a nice dropkick. He gets too into playing to the crowd and Tozawa catches him with a boot in the corner. He goes to dive, but Dempsey distracts from the apron and Connors attacks from behind. Chops from Connors and back to Dempsey. He controls with a side headlock. Tozawa escapes and comes off the top, but Dempsey rolls with him and gets a pin into a bridge for two. Connors with the tag and hits an enziguiri. That sends him into Dempsey who hits a German Suplex and Connors comes flying win with a Swanton Bomb for two. Birthright cheat behind there ref’s back. Tozawa wakes up after a chop and spikes Connors on his head with a DDT. HOT TAG to Otis and he runs wild. Clothesline to Dempsey. Backdrop to Connors and then a splash for each in the corner. Connors gets pitched to the floor where Tozawa hits a flying forearm. Dempsey eats a Caterpillar and Tozawa with the back Senton for the pin at 5:58.

Winners: Alpha Academy via pin at 5:58
-Super, basic tag match which is fine. The crowd was way into AA which helped. Dempsey and Connors make all the sense in the world as team and I am intrigued to see how far they can advance in their careers. Dempsey was something different when he debuted on Level Up, so I keep waiting for him to get a chance. **1/2

-Thanks for reading!

Good show this week with a really fun opener. Everything was solid to good and just an easy show to watch. Kit Wilson and Axiom take Match of the show honors, but just take the time to watch the entire show.
