Leon Slater Would Love To Face Rockstar Spud Or Amazing Red In TNA

Leon Slater has named a couple of TNA alumni that he would love to face in the company, specifically Rockstar Spud and Amazing Red. Slater is the current TNA X-Division Champion and recently spoke about his upcoming match with Amazing Red at House of Glory Wrestling’s With Glory Comes Pride event. During the interview he noted that he would love to have a match with Red under the TNA banner, as well as wanting a match with Spud.

“It is funny you guys say that because me and Red are actually about to wrestle on Friday for House of Glory in New York,” Slater said (courtesy of Fightful). “So that’s gonna be a real fun one. But of course, in a TNA ring, it would have a whole different magnitude, right?”

He continued, “So, as far as the TNA dream match goes, I would probably say Amazing Red is the one or Rockstar Spud, because Rockstar Spud has been a huge help to me in my career, being a fellow Brit. So that would be very cool to mix it up with Spud in the ring as well.”

Red and Spud are both former TNA X-Division Champions. Red held the title three times for a total of 122 days during his time in TNA, while Spud (who was Drake Maverick in WWE) held the title twice for a combined 43 days during his own TNA Run.

Slater is set to defend the X-Division Championship against NXT star Je’Von Evans at TNA Bound For Glory, which takes place on October 12th and airs live on PPV and TNA+. 411 will have live coverage of the show on Sunday.
