Leon Slater Is Hoping For More NJPW Dates After Royal Quest Appearance

Leon Slater competed at NJPW Royal Quest 2023, and he says he’s looking forward to getting more opportunities with the company. Slater teamed with Cameron Khai against Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney at the show, and he spoke with WrestlePurists about hoping to get more work with NJPW.

“100%,” Slater said (per Fightful). “I want to the best super junior, so that’s something I’m definitely looking forward to in the future and I know it’s going to come. Royal Quest was a great opportunity, again I got to work with Dan and first time working with Clark as well. Those boys are incredible and my tag team partner for the night, Cameron Kai, he’s only 18 years old and he’s built like a fucking animal bro. That guy, he’s got a crazy future too, so shout out Cameron Kai.”

He continued, “But yeah man, Royal Quest was a great opportunity and again, just to be around the people like Will and be around Tanahashi and Ishii and see how everyone operates — I feel like even if I didn’t wrestle and I wasn’t on the card, I would have learned so much just from being in that environment. Again, just super thankful for the opportunities I’ve been getting lately.”
