Speaking to Denise Salcedo at last night’s WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Induction Ceremony, WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia was there with her new husband, former wrestler Patrick Ellrich. The two got married earlier this week.
Garcia revealed that Xavier Woods helped the two get together, as Ellrich and Woods are former tag team partners. Speaking about how they met, Garcia stated, “Xavier Woods had a lot to do with it. I mean, we met by chance, but then when he found out, or he knew I was cuz he used to wrestle. He was Xavier Woods/ tag team partner. And then when I saw Xavier, he just kind of put the whole thing together, and here we are.”
Speaking on their wedding ceremony, Garcia continued, “Oh my gosh, it was great. It was so intimate. We decided to do something small and intimate, and it was so special, and it couldn’t have gone any better. I mean, the weather from everything, everything just flowed, and then to be able to just like a few days later come to WrestleMania, his first WrestleMania, yeah. ” She added, “And after him wrestling for 10 years, it makes me feel so happy that I could bring this into his life.”
The 59-year-old announced her engagement last November, but didn’t reveal Ellrich’s identity at the time, only saying that she was engaged to a former wrestler. Lilian Garcia was previously married to Chris Jozeph for 13 years from 2009 to 2022, when the couple divorced.
