Lineup for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite: Two World Title Matches & More

AEW has confirmed two championship matches and the in-ring debut of The IInspiration for the upcoming episode of Dynamite.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) will defend the AEW World Championship against one-third of the current World Trios Champions, Kevin Knight, this Wednesday.

The match came about after Knight interrupted MJF on tonight’s Collision. Friedman opened the show and asked Tony Khan to rectify the stipulation for his match against Hangman Page at AEW Revolution. Knight interrupted the champion and claimed that, tonight, his job was to shut up MJF.

Knight brought up his recent winning streak and claimed that he has more swag than Friedman. He further added that The Jet has the potential to be a better World Champion than MJF. This ticked off the Long Island native, who laid down a challenge for his title for the upcoming episode of Dynamite, and Knight accepted.

AEW subsequently made the match official via a social media post.

Apart from this, the AEW Women’s World Championship will be on the line this Wednesday, when Thekla defends her gold against Thunder Rosa.

Meanwhile, The IInspiration, who recently joined AEW, will make their in-ring debut for the company this Wednesday. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay will take on The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor).

The March 4, 2026, episode of Dynamite will take place in El Paso, Texas. 411Mania, as usual, will have live coverage of the event.
