Liv Morgan Retains Women’s World Title With Judgment Day’s Help On WWE Raw

It took all the women in the Judgment Day, but Liv Morgan was able to defeat Stephanie Vaquer to retain the Women’s World Title on this week’s WWE Raw. Morgan put her title on the line against the former champion on Monday’s nights episode, a match that saw Vaquer forced to contend with Raquel Rodrgiuez and Roxanne Perez as she tried to wrest the title from the champion.
The almost 18 minute match had both women pull out their trademark moves on different occasions, including Vaquer hitting two Devil’s Kisses during the match — one of which was on the commentary booth. During the final moments, Rodriquez came down to the ring to help but was quickly ejected from ringside. Becky Lynch came down and took Rodriguez out before seeing Perez slide Morgan the title. Lynch chased Perez down, but Morgan was able to smack Vaquer with the title behind the ref’s back. She then hit Oblivion for the win.
You can see clips from the WWE Raw match below. Morgan’s Women’s World Championship reign stands at 143 days, having won it from Vaquer at WrestleMania 42. This was her second title defense.
