Logan Paul nailed Je’Von Evans with a brutal Paulverizer during WWE Elimination Chamber, and he had a response to critics about the moment. During the men’s Chamber match, Paul hit a Paulverizer on Evans that saw Evans land on his head. Paul eliminated Evans immediately afterward via pinfall.

The moment was immediately reacted to by fans, who were critical of the spot as it looked like Evans could have been hurt. Paul responded to a joke his co-host made on Impaulsive about “almost killing” Evans, noting that he’s long been a supporter of Evans and saying Evans is fine before offering a light verbal jab. You can see the highlights below:

On His Spot With Je’Von Evans:

“What the f**k? What the — what the frick? Dog, hey, hold on. Je’Von Evans, new kid, up-and-comer. I’m the first one to support the kid. I got a tweet dating a couple years ago. I said, ‘Je’Von Evans is the future.’”

On Whether He Was Trying to ‘Take the Future Out:

“That’s not what I was doing, bro. I’m gonna say this — the kid is one of the best flippers in the WWE. But all of a sudden, when it comes time to flip with me, he can’t do it. He can’t flip. Nothing happened, bro. He got f**king got. He got Paulverized. He got Paulverized, he got pinned.

“Nothing happened. He’s fine. Buddy chalks it up, put some ice on the neck. Do a better flip next time and get going.”
