Luca Crusifino Retires From Wrestling Following WWE Release

Luca Crusifino has announced his retirement from professional wrestling following his release from WWE. The announcement came shortly after his final match on the April 22 episode of EVOLVE.

His release was part of a group of WWE talent departures last Friday. The EVOLVE appearance marked his last match under the company’s umbrella before making his announcement. Crusifino originally signed with WWE after a tryout and debuted with a lawyer gimmick. Prior to joining WWE, he was associated with the Duquesne Dukes football program.

He made his in-ring debut on NXT Level Up in February 2023. Over time, he transitioned to appearances on EVOLVE, where he continued to perform in WWE’s developmental system.

Crusifino shared the news through a public statement on X, confirming that he has decided to step away from in-ring competition. He described the decision as the result of personal reflection and noted that it marks the end of his wrestling career. In his statement, he expressed appreciation for the support he received during his time in WWE. He thanked fans, coaches, creative teams, and staff at the Performance Center for their role in his development.

“After much reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter of my life. Being a part of the WWE has been a dream ever since I was a child. Getting the chance to live out my dream in front of the world is something I’ll never take for granted. To the fans … thank you for every cheer, every boo, every moment of support. You made this journey unforgettable. I am forever grateful for the friendships that I made along the way. From talent, to coaches, to the creative team, to every single person I came in contact with at the performance center … thank you! Thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and sharing the ring with me. I’ve learned more than I can ever put into words and met some of the greatest people that will be friends for life. As of today, I’m officially stepping away and retiring from professional wrestling. It’s not an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me. His announcement concludes a run that spanned several years within WWE’s developmental system, from initial signing through his final EVOLVE appearance.
