Luchasaurus Returns On AEW Dynamite, Replacing Nick Wayne At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Luchasaurus is back on AEW TV and will take Nick Wayne’s place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Wednesday night’s show saw Wayne appear and reveal that he has a broken foot, and will not be able to team with Kip Sabian against Cope and Christian Cage at Sunday’s show.

Instead, Wayne brought out Luchasaurus and took out both Cope and Cage with chokeslams. Luchasaurus will be competing in his first match since All In 2024, having been hospitalized the next month.

We’ll have an updated lineup for Forbidden Door, which airs Sunday on PPV, after tonight’s Dynamite.
