WWE star Ludwig Kaiser has been arrested on charges of battery in the state of Florida. Fightful reports that Kaiser, real name Marcel Barthel, was arrested this week on the charge of battery.
The news began circulating after Barthel’s mugshot appeared on Recently Booked, a resource for real-time booking information, arrest records and more. Sean Ross Sapp reports that the arrest is accurate and that sources have indicated the battery charge was made after an altercation with a male.
Despite some speculation online, the situation is not one of domestic battery. PWInsider has also reported that it is not a domestic incident, and that Kaiser bonded out of Orange County Corrections in Orlando on $1,000 bail at 11:20 PM ET.
The booking information notes that Kaiser was arrested and booked today at 2:37 PM in Orange County, which includes Orlando. WWE has yet to comment on the matter.
Ludwig Kaiser has been part of WWE since 2017. He is a former WWE Speed Men’s Champion.
