Madhouse Wrestling Files Trademark For Old WCW PPV WrestleWar

Madhouse Wrestling, which is based in Iowa, has filed a new trademark for an old WCW PPV: WrestleWar. Fightful) reports that the trademark was filed on September 6. WrestleWar was used by the NWA and WCW from 1989 to 1992.
The filing is for “the categories of entertainment services in the nature of hosting social entertainment events; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing a website featuring entertainment information in the fields of fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
