Mark Henry Hypes Ricky Sosa As an ‘Unbelievable’ Future Talent

Mark Henry is a big fan of Ricky Sosa, believing that the independent wrestler is going to be an “unbelievable” talent in the future. The WWE Hall of Famer posed for a picture with Sosa and, when Sosa posted it to Twitter, retweeted it with some high praise.

Henry wrote:

“I don’t know if you guys know Ricky Sosa, but he is going to be an unbelievable talent in the future. He’s young athletic and he’s got that extra thing that you need for pro wrestling.”

Sosa is a big part of the UK independent scene. A four-year veteran, Sosa has worked regularly for wXw, Catch As Catch Can in France, Pro Wrestling Holland, and APC. He is a 21 year-old Belgian, the current wXw European Champion, and the current Legion Industrial Champion. Sosa competed over the weekend, defending his wXw European Championship against Leon Cage at wXw Back To The Roots 2026 on Saturday.

As for Henry, he recently predicted a “breakout year” for WWE Smackdown star Trick Williams, who competed in the #1 contenders match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Sami Zayn ultimately won the match. The bout also featured Randy Orton and Damian Priest.
