Marko Stunt Joins Memphis Wrestling as On-Air Talent & Mentor

As previously reported, former AEW wrestler Marko Stunt recently announced his retirement from the ring. However, that doesn’t mean Stunt is completely retired from wrestling in every capacity.

Memphis Wrestling announced today that Marko Stunt is joining the promotion in a full-time on-screen role. With his new position, Marko will bring his unique skillset to the promotion, serving as a mentor and coach at the Memphis Wrestling WrestleCenter.

You can view that announcement and press release from Memphis Wrestling below. Speaking on the announcement, Memphis Wrestling owner and host Dustin Starr commented, “We are going to have so much fun with this. Welcome to the home team, Marko!”

Additionally, Memphis Wrestling confirmed that Stunt’s first appearance will be televised on Saturday, November 22 on WMC Action News 5 Plus, WBBJ Jackson, THV11+ in Little Rock, TrillerTV, and YouTube.

As noted, Stunt retired from in-ring competition to focus on his long-term health after consulting with his doctor. He said at the time, “Accepting this reality has been one of the toughest moments of my career, but I know it is the right decision.”

However, Stunt now embarks on a new chapter in his career, and it will enable him to continue in wrestling in a new capacity and role, helping mentor the next generation of wrestling stars.
