Mason Rook Pulled From Main Event Of Tonight’s WWE NXT

Mason Rook will not be competing for the NXT Championship on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT after all, as revealed on Tuesday afternoon. WWE posted to Twitter to announce that Rook has not been cleared for his title shot against Grayson Waller on tonight’s show. The announcement noted that Waller will still defend his title in an open challenge.

Rook won his title shot against Waller on the September 15th episode of WWE NXT, winning a triple threat #1 contenders match against Saquon Shugars and Tony D’Angelo. There is no word on why he was not medically cleared, nor when he may be cleared.
