Mason Rook Signs Contract On WWE NXT, Confronted By Tony D’Angelo

Mason Rook signed his NXT contract on this week’s WWE NXT, but was confronted by Tony D’Angelo before he was able to put pen to paper. Tuesday night’s episode featured the former Will Kroos come out to the ring to sign his contract in a segment hosted by NXT General Manager Robert Stone.

Rook cut a promo and talked about how the fans know his catchphase of being big, bad and will bodyslam your dad. He spoke about his touring around the world and how even John Cena saw him. He talked about how he’s the “best anyweight” and that he wants more to be a viral sensation and to be talked about in the pubs.

That brought out D’Angelo, the NXT Champion. He stopped at the ringside area, saying he was just there to talk. D’Angelo said that Rook had his attention, pointing out Rook took a page out of his book by starting at the top. He said that Rook would not make a name for himself at D’Angelo’s expense.

As D’Angelo was talking to Rook, Kam Hendrick came out and started a brawl with the champion. They ended up surrounded by security and Rook went up top to moonsault them all before signing his contract. You can see clips from the segment below.
