Maxxine Dupri Wins Women’s Intercontinental Title On WWE Raw After AJ Lee Appears

Maxxine Dupri is your new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, defeating Becky Lynch due to a timely return by AJ Lee on Raw. Dupri picked up the win on Monday’s show to capture the title.

Lynch survived a couple of close calls from Dupri, who had previously defeated Lynch two other times but not for the title. The Man was in control when she got angry at referee Jessica Carr. She went on the attack against Dupri, but Lee came out to the entrance way. The distraction allowed Dupri to hit a high crossbody for the win and the title.

This marks Dupri’s first title in WWE. Lynch’s reign ends at 164 days. She won the title from Lyra Valkyria at WWE Money in the Bank.

This marks Lee’s first appearance on WWE TV since WrestlePalooza. You can see highlights from the WWE Raw bout below.
