Men’s Speed Championship Match Set For WWE NXT In Two Weeks

El Grande Americano has a new #1 contender for his WWE Men’s Speed Championship, and a title match is set for two weeks on NXT. Jasper Troy defeated Axiom on Tuesday night’s episode in the finals of the Men’s Speed Championship Contenders Tournament. Troy picked up the win in the closing seconds of the opening match with a Black Hole Slam.

By virtue of his victory, Troy will now challenge Americano for the title on the November 11th episode of NXT. The WWE LFG season one winner beat Zachary Wentz in the first round last week. Axiom beat Sean Legacy to advance to the finals.

Americano has been Men’s Speed Champion for 175 days. He won the title on the May 5th episode of Speed by beating Dragon Lee.

The November 11th episode of NXT takes place at the WWE Performance Center and airs live on The CW and Netflix internationally.
