Mike Bailey is now part of the United Empire, joining the group at the invitation of Will Ospreay on AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s episode featured a backstage segment in which Ospreay, with Francesco Akira alongside him, and said that he had made an offer to Bailey to join the faction.

Ospreay said that he saw how Bailey made the save on AEW Collision for Akira, and had asked him to join the group. Bailey said that they had been hesitant at first as their previous alliance with Kevin Knight turned out badly, but ultimately said that they were on board.

Ospreay and Bailey are set to face the Death Riders on tonight’s show ahead of Ospreay’s World Championship defense against Jon Moxley at AEW All Out. You can see a clip of the AEW Dynamite segment below.
