Mike Bennett felt the fans’ love in The Kingdom’s match in the 2300 Arena at ROH Death Before Dishonor. The team battled The Swirl on Friday’s PPV and while they didn’t get the win, Bennett posted a video expressing gratitude to the fans for their support.

“It felt really, really f**king good to be back last night,” Bennett said (per Fightful). “2300 Arena, Ring of Honor, Death Before Dishonor. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I didn’t know what kind of reaction we were going to get; the Kingdom and ECW Arena, we have a love-hate relationship. There’s a lot of hate on their side, but they love to hate us. So last night, it was tricky. I didn’t know what was gonna happen. I was a little nervous.”

He continued, “F**k, man, you guys brought the love. You brought the love 100%. I can’t thank you enough. It’s just those moments like that. Last night was what I got. I have got goosebumps thinking about it. Last night was a moment I’m just going to remember forever. I’m going to appreciate it forever. I’m going to have that stored. It’s a core memory that’s going to stick in there forever, because I spent so many moments in my career in that building, so many moments with Taven, so many moments with Maria, so many moments with all the ROH guys, and that was just special. It was really, really f**king special. I’m constantly telling myself in the bad times that this too shall pass, but I need to remember the good times to remind myself that this too shall pass. I remember doing that in the ring last night after the match, lying there and crawling over to Taven and telling him that I love him and that that was so much fun. I just remember thinking to myself, appreciate this, because this too shall pass. This moment will go away. But if you just appreciate it now, it’ll last somewhere in the heart, somewhere in the brain forever.”

This was the team’s first ROH match since May.
