Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell (Tegan Nox in WWE) were scheduled for a match at AEW Collision on Saturday night, but the match was canceled. PWInsider reports that Alize and Newell were scheduled to lose to Tay Melo and Anna Jay, but refused to lose them, leading them to walk out on the promotion. The duo apparently was upset about having to lose again after losing in their debut last week.
Hyan and Maya World ended up replacing Alize and Newell who left the show prior to it beginning. Both Hyan and Maya World reportedly “gained points” backstage for stepping in at the last minute as AEW was appreciative of them filling in.
Alize quickly commented on the situation on X, saying “We have SOOOOOOOO much to say ……………”
She also retweeted a comment from a fan that said, “yeah I agree that they can do with some credible wins and not just quick squash matches”
Newell was released by WWE back in November of 2024, ending her run as Tegan Nox. She and Alize made their AEW debut on October 25th, 2025 on AEW Collision.
PWInsider notes that it is believed that neither is under AEW contract.
