MJF Takes Shot At Carlos Silva’s Comments About Pulling TNA Stars From Indie Matches

MJF had a pointed response to Carlos Silva’s comments about why he pulled TNA talent from independent bookings against AEW stars. As noted, the TNA President addressed his decision to pull TNA stars from indie events on Busted Open Radio. Silva said that it was a matter of protecting TNA and making “hard decisions” for the good of the company. He also alleged that AEW has tried to block TNA from particular arenas and venues.

MJF posted to Twitter to take a shot at Silva while also promoting tonight’s AEW Dynamite. He did so by promoting his TNT Championship match with Kevin Knight, as well as (in his own way) Darby Allin’s World Title reign.

The Salt of the Earth wrote:

“I think it’s cool that you can just lie.

my turn.

I think Kevin knight has a shot at beating me at 8pm sharp and I also think Darby Allin is a GREAT champion. “

Silva said that the decision was his and that he took “full ownership,” noting:

“Look, we’ve got a great team, and we talk about these things together, but sometimes, I’m a guy that has to make that decision, and then you move on. You go to work the next day, and you work hard again and get stuff done.”

MJF was previously very critical of TNA and Silva after his match with Nic Nemeth for CAP Monumental Moment was pulled by Silva. MJF will now host an open challenge, while Nemeth will face Bear Bronson at the May 1st.

AEW Dynamite airs live tonight on TBS and HBO Max. Meanwhile, TNA Impact airs tomorrow on AMC, AMC+, and TNA+.

I think it’s cool that you can just lie.
