MLW has landed a former WWE star in Big Damo, signing him to a deal according to a new report. Fightful Select has confirmed that Demo has signed a deal with Major League Wrestling and will be joining their CONTRA stable.

MLW sources confirmed the signing to Sean Ross Sapp. Damo is scheduled to appear at MLW’s tapings on May 9th (Chattanooga, Tennessee), June 11th (New York City), and June 12th and 13th (Philadelphia). He is expected to feature as a big player in the new season of MLW Fusion. The site also notes that Damo is part of MLW’s approach for greater European representation on their roster, similar to their signing of Gallus, now known as GBOT.

Damo was a member of the WWE roster from 2016 through 2021. He worked as Killian Dain and was featured as a member of the group Sanity alongside Alexander Wolfe (Axel Tischer), Eric Young, Sawyer Fulton (Madman Fulton), and Nikki Cross. Damo was released in May of 2021 as part of a round of layoffs related to the COVID pandemic.

Damo made an AEW appearance on the May 20th, 2022 episode of AEW Rampage, losing to Shawn Spears.
