Moose picked up a victory over Frankie Kazarian to save his TNA career in the headlining match on on this week’s TNA Impact. The main event of Thursday night’s show saw Moose battle Kazarian in a grudge match. As part of the stipulation for agreeing to the match, Kazarian had forced Moose to agree to leave TNA if he lost the bout.

The match went just under 17 minutes, with both men throwing everything they had at the other. Moose found himself in trouble at various points, including one spot where he went for a spear but got back bodydropped through a table. The finish of the match saw Moose manage to escape a chickenwing submission that had nearly done him in by rolling into a pin for two. He then hit a spear on Kazarian for a pin attempt, but Kazarian kicked out. Kazarian caught another spear attempt but Moose managed to lay his opponent out with his finisher to get the win.

After the match, Moose grabbed the crown that Kazarian wears as the “King of TNA” and destroyed it with a chair You can see clips from the TNA Impact match below.
