More Backstage Details on TNA Cutting Ties With Max Caster

As previously reported, TNA Wrestling cut ties with Max Caster after his statements made during a freestyle rap for his entrance at TNA Bound for Glory 2026 last Sunday, using an unapproved line about the bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fightful Select has more details on the matter.

According to the report, before TNA cut ties with Caster, there was talk of using the wrestler for this week’s TV tapings in Dothan, Alabama. However, Caster reportedly told people closest to him that his match at Bound for Glory was likely a one-off.

Fightful also reports that talents said that TNA should take some of the blame for what took place and for not having Caster run through his rap beforehand. Additionally, talents said that everything seemed fine after the event on the bus ferrying talents from the venue to the hotel.

Additionally, PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.com) reports that TNA President Carlos Silva made the call to fire Caster after the event. As noted, Max Caster issued a statement on what happened with TNA earlier today, apologizing to Silva and the office, saying he felt like he let them down.
