As previously reported, work visa issues prevented multiple international talents from being able to make it to this week’s landmark TNA iMPACT! on AMC debut show, including TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater, who ended up appearing at yesterday’s WWE SmackDown in London, UK. PWInsider has more details on talent and staff who couldn’t attend due to the issue.

Besides Leon Slater, producer Lance Storm, Harley Hudson, and Dani Luna were unable to travel to the U.S. for this week’s events. Tonight’s TNA Genesis 2026 show is also being held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. PWInsider also notes that additional staffers and names who have to be revealed might not be able to make it to the Texas shows.

Though there is some good news for TNA. PWInsider reports that the word making its way around AMC yesterday (Jan. 16) is that the AMC executives who were in attendance at the TNA IMPACT! debut “were very happy with the show.”

The debut event was a live AMC Network broadcast. Former TNA World Champion AJ Styles made an appearance. Also, Mike Santana defeated Frankie Kazarian to regain the TNA World Title in the main event.

Santana and Kazarian will now face off one more time for the World Title in a Texas Deathmatch later tonight at TNA Genesis 2026. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
