Mustafa Ali Delivers Open Challenge to Indie Wrestlers for TNA International Title, Responds To Fan Complaint Over Recent Controversy

Newly crowned TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali delivered an open challenge after winning the title at last night’s TNA Rebellion 2026 event. After the event, Ali delivered an open challenge to independent wrestlers across the world to come and face him for the title.
Ali wrote on his X account, “Open challenge to independent wrestlers across the world. And the TNA roster can kiss my ***.” That later drew a complaint from a fan, noting the recent controversy of TNA pulling wrestlers from indie events and previously announced matchups against AEW wrestlers at said shows.
The X user wrote, “Rephrase that to open challenge to who TNA and WWE allow me to wrestle, except no AEW affiliation.” Ali later responded, noting that the user should direct their frustrations at those involved instead of him.
Mustafa Ali wrote, “Listen, I am not happy with how events unfolded. But you and other hoes trying to dunk on me for a decision not made by me and for actively trying to spotlight independent wrestlers?” He continued, “Get that passive-aggressive bull**** out of here. Direct your frustrations at the people involved with the situation, not the ****ing wrestler that has always gone out of his way to bring others up.”
