A new report has an update on Mustafa Ali, noting his contract with TNA is set to expire at the end of 2025 as it currently stands. Fightful Select reports that Ali’s contract runs through the end of 2025. Ali’s deal is one of a number of TNA contracts that expire at the end of the year.
The site notes that Ali “appears to be keeping his options open” at the moment. Ali of course had a lengthy run in WWE and has had a successful run in TNA, where he leads Order 4. He is a former X-Division Champion and challenged Ethan Page to the NXT North American Championship in a very well-received match at NXT vs. TNA Showdown a couple of weeks ago.
The report notes that Ali was “welcomed back” to NXT upon appearing there and that Shawn Michaels has always been a big advocate for Ali.
WWE released Ali in September of 2023 after a seven-year run there. In addition to his TNA work, Ali has worked matches for the likes of NJPW, House of Glory, Progress Wrestling, Revolution Pro and many other companies.
